Model overview based on user reviews
The Hankook Winter I*Cept X RW10 is a winter tyre that offers a mix of durability and performance. Users appreciate its durable sidewalls and good road holding, making it suitable for high-speed driving. However, it is noted to be noisy and not particularly comfortable, which might not appeal to those seeking a smooth ride. While the tyre is soft with good tread, it is not ideal for icy conditions, as it tends to be slippery. Some users have experienced issues with the sidewall, indicating it may not be reinforced enough in certain sizes. Overall, the tyre is considered a good value for its price, especially for those prioritizing durability over comfort.
Pros
Cons
Excellent rubber - soft with good tread. Low price, made in Korea. It is felt that it is softer than the summer one from here and more rolly in control. Doesn't affect speed. I'm using the first season. Noisy, but I believe that this is the scourge of any winter rubber. On ice - slippery. Price - qualitySoft rubber NoisyIce is not her ![]() |
Not a bad tyre, with a fairly strong sidewall. In principle, I took it, because before this 3 seasons I drove out on a sontic, and twice there was a side puncture on the pit. To be honest, it was very annoying, and I decided to take it with a reinforced tyre for this season. Since I live in the northern part of Russia, then she has already passed the test) Noisy. But tenacious. Stiff but good road holding and not bad for high-speed driving. Certainly not as comfortable as Kontik. One feels exactly downed, oakiness, so to speak. But I really like how she rides from the start, almost like on a summer one) If on the kontik I felt a light jelly in control, then here everything is gathered together and the road is felt. Therefore, if someone is used to driving straight with comfort, then this tyre is not very suitable for this. Let's see how the season goes, maybe I'll write a second review) I hope it's good)) Durable sidewalls. Hit on the road. Doesn't drive badly. There is no excessive impressiveness as on soft tyres. It is not designed for a comfortable ride. But I personally don’t care, I’m just writing this in the minus so that they read it for sure. use Hankook Winter I*Cept X RW10 225/60 R17 99T less than month |
The sidewall is not reinforced at all with anything of this size. Soft, not noisy. I was disappointed by the tire exploding at 60 km/h on a flat asphalt road. Mileage 8000km. There were no signs. The result is that there are a couple or three nylon hairs in the sidewall, the rest is rubber. Tire pressure 2.2. use Hankook Winter I*Cept X RW10 265/70 R15 112T more than year |
