Model overview based on user reviews
The Hankook Winter I*Cept RS2 W452 is praised for its quiet performance and excellent road handling, making it a reliable choice for winter driving. Users appreciate its ability to handle various conditions, from snow and ice to clear asphalt, with one reviewer noting it felt like driving "on rails" even at higher speeds. However, the tire's soft sidewall is a concern, as it can be prone to damage, such as punctures from minor impacts. Despite this, the overall feedback is positive, with users expressing satisfaction with its performance and fuel efficiency.
Pros
Cons
Proezdil on it 3 seasons. I liked it very much, it is quiet, it holds the road well, but it is already very soft, so you need to carefully choose places outside the main road. Quiet, holds the road well if you don't fall asleep too much Lack of grip when starting on snow use Hankook Winter I*Cept RS2 W452 225/45 R17 91H more than year |
Bought the Hankook WINTER I*CEPT RS2 W452 195/65 R15 91T in winter 2017. Really liked the tires, they're soft, quiet, and handle the road like it's summer. We were returning from the Carpathians to Kyiv, and we faced everything on the road... snowfall, ice, clear asphalt, ruts from cars, gusty wind... the car drove like it was on rails. Closer to Kyiv, we were driving 140 - 150, no issues, it drove like a tank. One downside, it's very delicate. I've never punctured a tire in my life, but while driving in the courtyards looking for a house number, with a lot of snow piled up, I clipped the curb with a tire. It was a light bump, nothing serious. I didn't even pay attention until a guy was waving at me through the window, signaling that I punctured a tire. I got out and saw that the tire was torn on the sidewall. This happened with brand new tires, probably with about 200 kilometers on them since purchase. At the first tire repair shop, they refused to fix it, but at the second, they patched it up and gave me a lifetime guarantee on the patch. After that, I drove the whole winter without issues. Everything was excellent. Good handling, quiet, holds the road well, fuel consumption. Soft sidewall use Hankook Winter I*Cept RS2 W452 185/65 R15 92T more than year |
