Model overview based on user reviews
The Hankook Winter I*Cept Evo W310 is a winter tire designed for high-speed enthusiasts in cold weather, maintaining elasticity and providing excellent road grip. Users appreciate its performance in lower temperatures, especially with narrower tires like the 185/55, which offer superior traction and soft handling on tracks. The tire's elasticity contributes to a shorter braking path and good wear resistance, with only 15% wear over a 3,000-mile winter season. While the soft rubber ensures comfort and low noise, it can lead to marks on frozen ice. Overall, the price is considered average and affordable, with the brand being well-regarded for quality.
Pros
Cons
The price and quality are not bad, the brand has long established itself as good. Everyone will decide for themselves what to take and for what money. They claim it's supposedly rubber for high-speed enthusiasts in cold weather, and it maintains elasticity... As for me, all car enthusiasts have the same goal when buying winter tires: to get maximum road grip, so such a concept should apply to all tires... Of course, I was a bit crafty writing that, but nevertheless, I chose tires that hold up in lower temperatures. For off-road capability, I chose narrower tires, mine are 185 by 55, because wide treads are unnecessary in winter; the performance is simply excellent: soft and not bad on tracks. I think the braking path differs from other winter tires because these are quite elastic and the sipes flex quite well. Regarding wear, 15 percent wore down over the season with a mileage of 3,000 for the winter. Since I don't drive a lot, the tires should last at least 4 years, but it’s important to store them in a humid environment in summer to prevent them from drying out. the drawback is also an advantage, as the soft rubber provides comfort and low noise while driving. However, the softness becomes an issue as the sidewalls on frozen ice leave marks or scuffs, call it what you will. The price is average, I think it's affordable. |
