Easy to operate and relatively inexpensive electric water heater with a cylindrical body and vertical wall mounting. The model can serve as a good solution for almost all types of premises, and at home it will satisfy the need for hot water for 2-3 people. Sufficiently compact dimensions make it easy to mount the boiler in narrow vertical niches. The Gorenje TGR SNGV9TGR 50 SNGV9 water heater is powered by a household single-phase 230 V network. The tank with a volume of 50 liters is made of stainless steel and covered with heat-resistant enamel from the inside. The submersible copper heating element heats the entire volume of the tank in one and a half to two hours. To reduce the formation of scale, a magnesium protector is provided, which can last up to 5-7 years without the need for rep...lacement. The heating mode is controlled by a rotary thermostat, the current water temperature is always shown by a built-in thermometer located in the upper part of the body. Sensors installed in the boiler monitor the temperature of the water in the tank and turn off the heating element when it rises above the norm. Conversely, if the water temperature is close to zero, heating is turned on to protect the device from freezing. The safety valve will drain excess water when the pressure in the system rises, saving the boiler from damage. In general, we have a reliable and easy-to-use water heater.

Model overview based on user reviews
The Gorenje TGR SNGV9 is a reliable and efficient water heater, praised for its narrow design, making it ideal for tight spaces. Users appreciate its robust construction with a steel tank and dual-stage corrosion protection, featuring heat-resistant enamel and a magnesium anode. It heats water effectively, reaching up to 75 degrees, though some note the thermometer can be inaccurate. While it requires some time to heat water, it offers good thermal insulation and operates quietly. The model is manufactured in Europe, ensuring quality, and comes with a two-year warranty. However, some users find the price high and mention issues with the adhesive on the casing sticker. Overall, it is a well-regarded choice for those needing a compact and durable boiler.

wonderful model, really honored

The boiler is reliable. I've been using it for almost a year. I got the 65-liter one. The fact that it has a wet heater doesn’t affect its performance. In another apartment, I also bought one 20 years ago. It's an 80-liter Gorenje. I haven't cleaned it even once in 20 years. It works without complaints. So, for another apartment, I also got one, but a narrower model.
Sticker on the casing. It's terrible. It's impossible to peel off. I soaked it, the paper came off, but the adhesive from the sticker remained. I took soap and water and gently rubbed for half an hour.
Gorenje manufacturers, don’t embarrass yourselves, make stickers that can be easily removed from the casing.

a good model, I liked it.

For about five years, my wife and I lived without a water heater, all sorts of preventive shutdowns for an adult are nothing more than minor discomfort. But since our long-awaited child was born in early March, we had to insure ourselves. In the summer (June), the water will still be turned off for at least a month, so without such a boiler it will be problematic even with a child.
This is a so-called "narrow" model with a width and depth of 34 centimeters. Nothing more sizable would fit into our bathroom, and there were no other places for installation. Otherwise, it looks like the most ordinary storage water heater. It has a standard two-kilowatt immersion heating element, which allows you to heat the entire 50-liter volume of water relatively quickly. If it's cold winter water, you have to wait about two hours. The steel tank has a sufficiently thick wall and reliable protection of the inner surface from corrosion. Moreover, the protection is two-stage. It works with a special coating of heat-resistant enamel not prone to cracking, and a large magnesium anode providing additional electrochemical protection. The water temperature is set by a control dial. The system is simple, foolproof, and, unlike electronics, not sensitive to voltage fluctuations in the network. At maximum, the water heats up to 75 degrees, but 55 is optimal in terms of heat loss. This boiler is manufactured in Serbia, that is, in Europe, and has a full-fledged two-year warranty, unlike cheap Chinese knockoffs.
High price. Not suitable as a quick hot water backup. After all, after turning it on, you still need to wait at least an hour to get really warm water. The thermometer in the upper part in transient conditions often misses and shows a temperature higher than in reality.
great model, love it

Installed two weeks ago. The location played a decisive role, so I chose this particular model. Got up tyutya in tyutyu. By the way, in depth it is somewhat larger than in width due to the rear attachment and the thermometer in front - about 350 mm. I read somewhere that it's noisy. In general, I don’t hear how he works, lives his own life. The water heats up properly, no complaints. The case is slightly warm, which indicates good thermal insulation. Yes, the thermometer does not quite match the position set on the regulator, but intuitively everything is adjusted to the need. At the expense of durability - a neighbor installed the same one for himself four years ago, he has no complaints. The plumber who did the installation also spoke highly of this model. I also considered installing the Atlantic (there is also a similar slim model), but the experience of a neighbor and the recommendation of a plumber did their job. The latter spoke well of the Atlantics, but the slim model, in his opinion, is not very successful for the Atlantic. I don’t know if this is true, but for what I bought it so to speak. For myself, I saw an advantage over the Atlantic in the possibility of a higher temperature for heating water - 75 versus 65 degrees. There is another option from Tesy, for me it is much more interesting - two dry heating elements, but it is more overall. In my case, the dimensions were decisive. Good choice everyone. And Kievenergo goats!
