Purchased a kettle, very beautiful in appearance. In practice, it is also good - not noisy, water boils quickly. No unpleasant smell. Has boil-dry protection. Long cord, approximately 1 meter. 1) I removed the filter from the spout (plastic + metal mesh), it is not needed if there is water after the filter and there is no need to retain fallen pieces of calcium (at the same time, the plastic comes into less contact with water). 2) It is clear that the water must be soft or bottled or after a water filter with softening, otherwise you will be tortured to remove calcium from the glass and the heating element. 3) Analogue, twin brother: Saturn ST-EK7014. For 100 UAH. cheaper, the handle is not black, but gray. Both kettles are probably from the same Chinese factory. Maybe the quality is worse. Or maybe not, just a different brand. I chose based on 3 criteria - eco-friendliness, reliability, and style. 1) Eco-friendliness: - not plastic (plastic molecules still get into the water, no matter what you say); - glass is inert and does not interact with water - the most eco-friendly material; - bottom - metal; - kettle spout is also metal (some kettles have a glass body but a plastic spout); - the body itself is metal on the top and bottom (there are kettles "like metal" that shine at first, but then the paint peels off); 2) Reliability: - no water level window - sooner or later water starts leaking from it onto the electric stand; - well-known manufacturer Gorenje (Slovenia, but made in China); - compliance with state standards of Ukraine and Russia (marks at the bottom); 3) Style and convenience: - modern hi-tech design; - power indicator - glowing blue ring; - when boiling, the blue light of the indicator hits the rising bubbles above it, coloring them blue - romantic; - the lid opens itself after pressing the large round button on it; - the handle is wide and comfortable. 1) The kettle is not completely environmentally friendly, the water comes into contact with: a) the plastic inside on the lid; b) with a plastic spout filter; c) with a rubber sealing ring around the lid; 4) with silicone (sealant when connecting glass to metal) - a soft transparent silicone ring around the disk (heating element). 2) The handle in the photo looks like a metal body, but in fact it is light gray plastic, making the kettle look cheaper. If the water is not filtered, scale will start to form immediately. The first big review is mine. Everything works excellently after 3 months. Even though I wrote a lot in the first review and it might seem like there are drawbacks, I actually chose this kettle because there are practically none :) Not completely glass / not completely metal.
