From the first days of the installation, water began to drip, we turned to the service center, the mother arrived after 2 weeks, something poked around and left. Two days later it started leaking again. We called again the master of the SC. Said the gasket needed to be replaced. Waited a month for a gasket. The master arrived and started poking around, said the tank was dripping, it was necessary to arrange a replacement. As a result of 3 months without a boiler. SC says that we have to take it back to the store to get money, of course, installation at the beginning, delivery, dismantling, and installation and delivery of a new boiler at our expense. On exactly the same place popadalovo for 1000 UAH. I have not seen a better boiler, although before that a similar boiler from burning worked for 8 years without a single breakdown. But now we will never deal with this company again. Undetected It broke right away, the manufacturer does not care about customer problems. 3 months without hot water ![]() |
We needed a modern, narrow and shallow water heater with a volume of 50 liters. I went through many options and settled on this one. Its dimensions are really excellent, it fits perfectly in my small bathroom. I have already gotten used to all kinds of smart electronics, but the smart water heater surprised me. Well, ECO SMART is an excellent technology; it's strange that it wasn't implemented earlier. The idea is that for about a week, the water heater operates in learning mode, monitoring how and when you use hot water. Based on this data, it then forms its own heating schedule, adjusting it so that the water is hot at just the right time. For example, at night or during the day when I'm at work, the heating element doesn't turn on. This clever feature helps reduce heat losses and noticeably lowers the monthly electricity consumption. It also has an automatic "anti-legionella" function, which ensures that no harmful microflora develops inside the tank. So, periodically, once every two weeks, the water heater independently heats the entire tank to 70 degrees and maintains this temperature for about two hours. This process kills almost all potentially dangerous bacteria, ensuring the water remains clean. The tank itself is quite sturdy, made from steel with a protective glass-ceramic coating and a magnesium anode. It comes with a 10-year warranty, but the electrical components and two kilowatt heaters have only a two-year warranty. The automatic "anti-legionella" mode is certainly good. However, in my case, the water became stagnant and acquired an unpleasant odor after just a week of inactivity. Modern European SMART technologies are powerless against poor water quality. |
This boiler is installed in our rented apartment, and we are very pleased :) First of all, the cool EcoSmart function: after installation, the smart button blinks for about a week, indicating that the water heater is "learning", specifically adjusting to its owners' habits, remembering when and how much water they used. After a week, the button stops blinking, meaning it already knows everything. This mechanism is designed to heat water exactly when it's needed, thus saving a decent amount of electricity. Overall, it heats water quickly, especially if you turn it on at full power, which is particularly relevant when guests arrive :) Otherwise, it's a good device, probably worth the money! ecoSmart function, compact, fast operation not found ![]() |
enamelled tank
The smart storage water heater of the Slovenian manufacturer Gorenje FTG 50 SMV9 belongs to the category of functional devices that do not require an overpayment for a promoted brand. The internal storage capacity of 48.7 liters is made up of two flat steel tanks with an enamel coating, in which a magnesium anode is installed for corrosion protection and 2 submersible copper heating elements with a power of 1 kW each, operating in a 2-stage mode. The high-quality thermal insulation of the tank allows you to keep the temperature of the heated water for a long time with minimal heat loss, but its thickness ultimately affected the decent case depth of 30 cm and the considerable total weight of the device 31 kg. At full power of heating elements, the device heats up water at ∆t=55 °C in 122 minutes, requiring a lot of patience from the user, who is not configured for such a long wait.
Antilegionella
The control panel of the device is made in a minimalist style with an indicator scale and two buttons: manual parameter settings and automatic operation. Manual setting allows you to set 4 temperature modes: anti-freeze (10 °C), minimum heating (35 °C), ECO mode (57 °C) and maximum heating (75 °C). When the intelligent EcoSmart function is activated, the device monitors the user's actions for a week, after which, based on his habits, starts the automatic boiler control system. This allows you to achieve significant savings in energy consumption, amounting to more than 7 kWh per week with daily use of the unit. The model is equipped with an electronic thermostat and has built-in protection against overheating, freezing, overpressure and shutdown when the tank is empty. And provided that within 2 weeks the boiler does not warm up the water to a temperature of 65 °C, the anti-legionella mode is automatically activated, which performs active heat treatment of the tank. Its job is to heat the water for 2 hours at a temperature of 70 °C, which guarantees the complete destruction of pathogenic bacteria.
