The free-standing freezer chest by Gorenje is a mid-budget solution with an effective volume of 297 liters (unit dimensions are 85x111x63 cm). The model is equipped with an inverter compressor, which enhances reliability and durability compared to a standard unit, makes operation quieter (declared noise level up to 40 dB), and more economical. Over a year of non-stop use, it will consume up to 185 kWh, which corresponds to class D (new).

The Gorenje FH 30 DAW freezer comes with two adjustable hanging baskets, allowing for easy access to the desired products. Important operational features include a respectable freezing capacity of up to 16 kg/day and long cold retention in case of power outages — up to 40 hours, which comfortably covers various emergencies (or even transport with products).

The model features a touch control panel with a display: you can set the temperature mode, activate quick freezing FastFreeze (lowers the temperature to -24 °C and automatically returns to basic settings after 26 hours) or child lock. Highlights include a light on the door, a lock to protect from unauthorized access, support for the FreezeProtect function, allowing operation in frost (up to -15 °C), so the device can be placed in unheated rooms — basement, garage, etc.
