How to Choose Bread MakerTips for choosing a bread maker: important parameters, features and characteristics
Model overview based on user reviews
The Gorenje BM1400E breadmaker is praised for its stylish metal design and versatile baking capabilities, allowing users to bake both large and medium loaves with ease. It offers a variety of programs, including options for wheat, French, wholegrain, and sweet bread, as well as additional settings for cake, pastry, jam, and dough kneading. Users appreciate the double baking pan feature, enabling the simultaneous baking of different bread types. However, some have noted issues with the non-Russified menu and the large size of the machine, which may not suit smaller kitchens. The breadmaker's performance is generally well-received, with many users highlighting the quality of the baked goods and the convenience of programmable features like the delay start timer. Some concerns include the heating of the casing, occasional electric shocks, and the poor quality of the accompanying recipe book. Despite these drawbacks, the Gorenje BM1400E is considered a good value for its price, especially for those seeking a reliable and multifunctional breadmaking appliance.

Good choice.

She bakes delicious bread, I’m very glad that after much deliberation I finally purchased it.
The bread maker looks just great, it was important for me that everything is made of metal, there is more trust in such a device, it will not crack at the most inopportune moment. The bread he bakes is very tasty. Everyone at home likes it, it’s worth a try just to compare it with store-bought ones, I’m sure you won’t be able to eat store-bought loaves anymore. The taste is completely different, any rolls go straight away for us, for lunch or dinner, although in general we don’t eat that much bread, it turns out very tasty, and even with a crispy crust. It’s very convenient that you can bake either one large loaf or two medium ones; most bread machines don’t provide this, but it’s really much more convenient - you can put your own additives in each loaf and you’ll get two products with different tastes, it’s much more interesting and you can experiment . It is easy to handle, and inserting and removing forms is not difficult at all. Cleaning is also absolutely no problem. The control is touch-sensitive and makes a clearly audible sound after the program ends. The programs are also a plus; I only use them without experimenting, and everything works out just fine.
It wasn’t immediately possible to figure out where and how much to put what, somehow my recipes and grams got a little mixed up, but this is only the first time. Quite massive and takes up a lot of space. The menu is not Russified, it seems like a small thing, but they could have done it; this, of course, does not interfere with using a bread machine.
Bulkoezhkause Gorenje BM1400E more than year
Great price for such a stove!!!!

i had been dreaming of a bread maker for half a year, kept looking around, reading reviews. My sister let me try hers (she bought a Kenwood 300 six years ago but rarely uses it. She says it’s not cost-effective, doesn’t taste good, and it’s a hassle to use. She let me try it so I wouldn't want to buy one. She says it’s not necessary. But on the contrary, it made me want one even more.)) I got very excited. I WANT it, and that's final. My husband even gifted me scales in advance.
So, I bought a 1400 model at Technopolis during a promotion for just 999 UAH. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to my expectations right away. It's made in CHINA - completely. They delivered it, we unpacked it, and it turned out that the whisk for the large pan was missing (at least it was with the double pan; I thought, alright, I'll go exchange it). I followed the instructions for the first frying of the pan, and then... the double pan was broken at the side where it attaches to the stand. It's so fragile, and the smell was awful, and then I touched it, and it shocked me, and the wall was so hot, and this was only after 10 minutes of operation.
We took it back to the store and explained the situation. They checked it, and it didn't have any issues. They gave us another knife, with the same 3+1 configuration, but someone else will be unlucky because they won’t have any knives for the large pan at all((.
We brought it back, plugged it in, and I wore slippers with rubber soles (I realized I had shoes on in the store), and it didn’t shock me. I also had to turn the plug, which I read about when my washing machine started shocking through water (something about polarity). I took off the slippers, and it shocked me. We'll be baking in slippers, and my husband says we also need insulated gloves.)))
two baking pans)))
A double form is overall)) CLASS
The casing heats up, it's a bit noisy during kneading, when the third cycle of rising and baking occurs it clicks (probably the heating element). ELECTRIC SHOCK HAZARD

great model, love it

we've been using the bread machine for almost a year. The bread from the recipe book turned out well right away. I'm using electronic scales. You can't measure precisely with a measuring spoon. For a 1200g loaf, I made a few small adjustments, which I prefer.
sugar - 2 tbsp
dry milk - 2 tbsp
vegetable oil - 2 tbsp
salt - 2 tsp
water - 480 ml
flour - 620 grams
yeast - 6 grams
The bread isn't too porous and doesn't crumble. It keeps for 3-4 days without getting stale. A lot depends on the flour; not all manufacturers are reliable. We've tried many brands and settled on Dnipromlyn. So far, this flour hasn't let us down.
Price. Design. Quality of baked goods.
