Model overview based on user reviews
The Gislaved Ultra*Speed 2 tires are generally well-received for their excellent price-quality ratio and strong performance on both dry and wet roads. Users appreciate their quiet and comfortable ride, with some noting a significant reduction in noise compared to other brands. The tires offer good grip and braking capabilities, even in wet conditions, and are praised for their durability. However, some users find them too soft or unstable at higher speeds, and a few mention they are harsh and noisy. Overall, the tires are recommended for their value and performance, though some suggest considering alternatives for a more premium experience.

Tire in size 185/55 R15, car Daewoo Lanos. So, let's start with the fact that Gislaved is a subsidiary of Continental, and as a subsidiary's product, it should practically not differ from similar class products of the original brands. But! Previously, I used Hankook (I don't remember the model), and I liked them more. I was attracted to Gislaved because of the price and probably purchased positive reviews. Overall, the tire is not bad, durable (the tire in the photos is in its 3rd season, with about 30,000 km mileage), soft, relatively quiet at speeds up to 100 km/h, excellent grip on dry roads, quite good on wet roads. But in my feeling, the tire feels somewhat unstable, the car feels like jelly on it, especially in turns and when changing lanes sharply. It's not worth blaming the car model, because with winter Bridgestone Blizzak VRX, the car feels very confident in any situation. Regarding this tire - I'll use it for another season and will better buy something not from subsidiary companies, hoping for top quality. durable, moderately quiet up to 100 km/h, normal grip In my experience, the rubber feels somewhat unstable, the car feels like jelly on it. ![]() |
Drove for one season, was satisfied with the price-quality ratio, however, last year, along with the metal rims I bought for winter, I got a rather worn out Continental. Decided to finish it off this summer. Felt what a premium brand is like, even quite worn it holds the road better, is more stable at high speeds, and surprisingly, even more comfortable. Size 205/55 R 16/ Price - Yakist. Descho emerged as the top brand of the old premium brand. ![]() |
Excellent tires. 20000 km. I’m skating for the second season and everything is great! Road grip is 5, in the rain 5, soft and silent! I recommend! Not only does it have grip on wet and dry asphalt, but it also handles 100% in mud! So far nothing has disappointed! use Gislaved Ultra*Speed 2 215/50 R17 95Y more than year |
