Highlighted game buttons WASD and arrows. Water protection. 10 additional keys.

A full-sized and relatively affordable gaming keyboard with vibrant multi-colour backlighting — every colour of the rainbow is represented in the colour gradient of the backlight. Note that the keys themselves and symbols are not highlighted, there is also no possibility to adjust the colour and intensity of the glow. The only thing that can be done with the backlight is to turn it on or off at the user's request.

The keys have a membrane device, the height and travel force correspond to mechanical counterparts, they work almost silently. There is a button to turn on Windows. Using the Smart Genius utility, you can customize the operation of the top row of keys, from F1 to F12. The keys themselves received a double layout, marking in Latin and Cyrillic. The Genius Scorpion K215 keyboard has liquid protection, which is implemented by waterproofing the case and the presence of through holes for drainage. On the reverse side there is a pair of folding legs. The connection to the PC is implemented via USB 2.0 current-carrying wiring. The wire is non-removable, its length is 1.5 metres. In general, this keyboard can be a good solution both in everyday work and in modern games of various genres (racing, RPG, shooters, etc.).

How to choose a gaming keyboardLet's look at the differences between the types of switches and additional equipment for gaming keyboards
Model overview based on user reviews
The Genius Scorpion K215 is an affordable gaming keyboard with a stylish design, featuring highlighted WASD and arrow keys and a two-tier Enter key. While it offers a multicolor backlight, users note that it does not illuminate the symbols, making it less functional in low light. The keyboard is water-resistant and has a durable build, but some users report issues with the keys being loud, creaky, and wearing out quickly. The lack of rubber on the legs can cause it to scratch surfaces, and the plastic material is prone to scratching. Despite these drawbacks, it is considered a decent option for its price, though some suggest saving for a higher-quality model.

The goods didn’t work for me, I’d rather save up for a better one.

Hi all! I want to write my opinion about this keyboard. Since I'm Loch and bought not at the minimum but at the maximum price.(This is my personal opinion)
1. There is backlighting for W, S, D, A and arrow keys
2. Two-tier Enter (this is a + for me)
3. Has Num Lock
4. Attractive interior design
1. No backlighting of symbols (pity)
2. Quite loud keys (mechanism doesn't count)
3. My right Ctrl, Win, Alt keys creaked a lot and still do (and this was from the first day of purchase)
4. The keys are unpleasant, typing is not very comfortable
5. The space bar creaks
6. It's a shame that the keyboard legs don't have rubber, in short, the keyboard scratches the table
7. Symbols are crooked and wear off in 5 months
8. Slippery material
9. The spacebar wobbles a lot (I didn't break it)
10. Plastic remnants, had to file it all down

P.S: It's only beautiful (not) with the backlight and in deep darkness, without it in the light, no.

Hello! Not that great. The keys are worn out, and the backlight is just for show.
Quite durable.
I was hoping for backlighting, but it's not functional here (the keys are lit from below without illuminating the symbols).

Affordable and eye-catching

The Genius keyboard from the Taiwanese brand is one of the most popular gaming models. It attracts gamers not only with its budget-friendly price, but also with its stylish, aggressive look typical of gaming gear.

Genius Scorpion K215 is almost entirely black, with 8 game-critical keys in blue: WASD and the arrow keys. Most top surfaces are matte and resistant to smudges (except for a small trapezoid-shaped glossy insert). The lighting isn’t brightness-adjustable and is a seven-color gradient from green to blue. It’s there purely for looks, since the actual key legends (the layout) aren’t backlit and can’t be seen in the dark.

Proper layout and extra keys

The Genius Scorpion K215’s keys aren’t shifted from the standard layout; they have the familiar placement and sizes (long Shift and Backspace, a two-row Enter). Key travel is quiet and fairly soft, especially for a membrane keyboard.

There are 10 extra keys (for media control and web browsing) that work out of the box — no additional software required.

Durable and spill-resistant

The keyboard is made of plastic, and the key switches are additionally reinforced and, according to the manufacturer, rated for 2 million presses. There are drainage holes on the underside, so the Genius Scorpion K215 is a spill-resistant model and can “survive” liquid spills. The base has a pair of rubber pads to prevent slipping. However, there are none on the flip-out feet, and given the product’s relatively low weight, the chance of it sliding on the desk during gaming is fairly high.

The keyboard comes with a flexible, soft USB cable, but its length, according to many users, isn’t very generous (1.5 m), which can be considered a drawback of the model.

Overall, the Genius Scorpion K215 is an inexpensive gaming option with a signature design that’s easy to recommend to beginner gamers and those who see gaming as just one of their hobbies.
