Model overview based on user reviews
The General Grabber AT3 is a versatile tire praised for its excellent road holding, quiet performance, and durability, making it suitable for a variety of conditions including off-road and winter use. It is noted for its high wear resistance and performs well in mud and clay, especially when deflated properly. However, it has some limitations, such as poor aquaplaning due to the absence of longitudinal grooves and weak sidewalls, which can be prone to damage in rough terrains with sticks or branches. While it is a balanced choice for mixed conditions, those seeking tires for extreme off-roading might need to consider alternatives. Overall, it is recommended for those needing a single set of tires for diverse conditions, but caution is advised in environments with potential sidewall hazards.
Pros
Cons
Very balanced, versatile for various application conditions Holds well on the road, quiet, yet can perform off-road and behaves adequately in winter. Durable, wear-resistant. Not very good aquaplaning (as expected due to the absence of longitudinal grooves) and ice (like any "sticky tire"). Do not venture on it to places where MT is needed ![]() |
Mileage 45000, two wheels are close to wear. Fishing mud, forest, clay, two trophy raid competitions - performed very well everywhere, especially when deflated properly (to 0.6). The sidewall holds, sits on the rim. For complete off-roading, you need to get tires specifically for such conditions. Tearing them to shreds is possible, but that's not an issue with the tires... Excellent capabilities in mud, very quiet on asphalt, high wear resistance. Nothing, very satisfied. use General Grabber AT3 225/75 R16 108H more than year |
Took for the city. fishing. In the rain, it comes out of the mud with a bang, but in the field. but in the forest, where there are branches thicker than a finger, then this is zh..pa !!! tore the sidewall twice. The first time I thought it was unlucky, but the second time, when it’s hard to call it [censored], the rod stuck not across, but tangentially, I realized that I wasted money on them. Bottom line: the first wheel in the morgue, patched the second and looking for a replacement for all four. I do not advise. I have been using tyres for 2 years, Suzuki Grand Vitara good off-road capability. quite stable on puddles Very, very weak sidewall!!! Slow down only when there is confidence that there are no sticks in the way. ![]() |
