Model overview based on user reviews
The FSP FP 1000 1000 VA is an interactive UPS designed in a tower form factor, offering a peak output power of 1000 VA and a rated output power of 600 W. It features a quick switching time to battery of 6 ms and provides four Schuko-type sockets. The UPS operates quietly, even during battery mode, maintaining a noise level of 40 dB. However, it does not equalize the output voltage to a standard 220 V - 230 V, which may be a concern for some users. The device includes overload protection and a sound alarm for added safety. It has a total battery capacity of 7 Ah with two batteries, requiring a full charge time of 360 minutes. The UPS lacks a screen, wheels, or a carrying handle, but it supports cold start functionality. Overall, the FSP FP 1000 is a reliable model for basic power backup needs, though users should be aware of its voltage regulation limitations.
Pros
Cons
Today I bought this UPS, connected it, downloaded and installed the UPS monitoring application. It shows the same voltage at the input as at the output, why? It also has an AVR voltage stabilizer installed. If the input is 209 V, then the output is 209 V. How to understand this, explain, is this a UPS malfunction or what? It works quietly when the voltage is turned off, operation on battery is not loud. Does not equalize the output voltage to 220 V - 230 V. |
