Franke was chosen on the advice of the designer who was responsible for the design of our kitchen. He said that it is not cheap, but, as a rule, there are no problems with the products of this brand. The most amazing thing about this sink is its material. The so-called Fragranite is an amazing modern composite material consisting of natural granite chips and polymer acrylic resin. The ratio of components is 4:1. It is known that granite has a very high hardness and wear resistance. It is impossible even to scratch it with ordinary metal kitchen appliances, so the composite from which the sink is made is resistant to scratches, and, thanks to polymer resin, also stoically endures blows. In addition, it tolerates heat well and calmly holds temperatures up to 270 degrees, inclusive. So a hot pot and even a hot frying pan can be placed on it without any fear. In addition, an antibacterial component has been added to the composition of the polymer composition of this sink, so that pathogenic muck on its surface simply cannot multiply. The sink is completed with sanitary fittings with overflow. Installed by a professional plumber when assembling the kitchen. We use two months. The wife praises the two bowls and says that washing and soaking has become much easier. The price is outrageous, of course.
