Originally entitled the Broadcaster - before being promptly renamed the Telecaster was the first solid body electric guitar released on sale to the public in 1951 - and the rest as they say is history. Something they also say is that they dont make guitars like that anymore and well Fender just did. Its built using meticulously selected components such as the bespoke vintage 51 single-coil pickups which are designed to capture the tonal essence of the original model. The body is shaped into an era-appropriate profile and constructed from ash offering a resonant and rich tone that is complemented beautifully by the brightness of the maple neck. The use of this aged timber build ensures not only a glorious sound but also a guitar that is both comfortable and durable. Finished with a butterscotch blonde wrap and complete and a premium U shaped neck - the 1951 Telecaster is a high-class instrument like youve never seen before.
