Model overview based on user reviews
The Enermax Platimax Platimax power supply unit features a good design and initially performs well, but a user reported that it failed after three years, falling short of the five-year factory warranty. Priced at 15k, the user expressed dissatisfaction, stating they wouldn't purchase it again even at half the price. A significant issue highlighted was the poor soldering quality, with three unsoldered joints found, which is considered unacceptable for a unit of this caliber. Additionally, it contains only 8 solid capacitors, with the rest being conventional. The user suggests that while it could have been an excellent power supply unit, the soldering quality was a major drawback.
Pros

Cons

It's hard to judge by just one block, maybe I was unlucky, but I won't buy one like this again.

Could have been an excellent power supply unit if not for the soldering quality.
The design was good. It worked for three years and died quietly. It did not last the five-year factory warranty. Bought it for 15k. Now I wouldn't take it even for half. It was an Enermax Platimax 1200.
The soldering quality is very poor, found three unsoldered joints. For such a unit - it's unforgivable. 8 solid capacitors, the rest are conventional.
