Compact yet handy press

The distinctive features of the Elna brand press include very compact dimensions. The model does not take up much space during operation and storage. Like analogues, it is fixed in a closed form with a lock, and the handle of the upper platform acts as a carrying handle.

The dimensions of the working surface of Elna Elnapress Opal are 62x25 cm. At a minimum, this should be enough for domestic needs. This is partly due to the possibility of ironing large items folded (in 4 or even 8 layers), which is provided by an ironing pressure of 45 kg.

Patented design

In addition to the main surface for laying out things, the press is equipped with a special sleeve platform measuring 51x11 cm. By default, it is located under the bottom plate, but easily rises above it.

With a sleeve attachment, ironing of children's clothes and relatively small wardrobe items, collars and sleeves of shirts, waist parts of trousers, etc. is simplified. Also included in the package is an ironing pad, which simplifies the work with various delicate parts of clothing.

4 modes and hydration

Elna Elnapress Opal supports 4 temperature settings, respectively for synthetics (nylon), silk, wool and cotton. The required temperatures are “pumped up” by a 1000 W heater, and the built-in thermostat maintains them stably.

The model does not have a steam supply. But the Vap-O-Jet humidification system allows you to partially compensate for the lack of a steam generator. In fact, this is a removable water tank with several nozzles for spraying onto the fabric. It is recommended to apply such moisturizing with dense natural things.

Simple and safe

The control panel of the press is represented by buttons. It is supplemented by indicators of the status of heating and the selected temperature mode. The security system combines an audible warning and automatic shutdown after 10 seconds of platform closing. If you leave the device turned on in the open position, then the shutdown will automatically occur after 15 minutes of inactivity.

Elna Elnapress Opal is a good household helper if there are few things in the household that require steaming and/or there are enough small clothes for a hose attachment.
