Powerful and efficient extractor hood with the possibility of installation in a kitchen cabinet. The "heart" of the product is a turbine with a maximum capacity of 1200 m3 / h, thanks to which the equipment is suitable even for a large and spacious kitchen. At the same time, the speed of work is regulated within the framework of three preset modes, at the maximum level of generated noise reaches 69 dB.

It is possible to work in recirculation mode, when the suction vapors are passed through the internal filtration system, after which the purified air is returned back to the room. Special attention deserves the possibility of installing an additional active filter, which provides finer air purification. Among other useful features in domestic use, we highlight the built-in halogen backlight and a timer to automatically turn off the device after a certain time.

Model overview based on user reviews
The Elica Hidden IX/A/60 is a built-in Italian cooker hood known for its stylish design and powerful performance. It offers both extraction and recirculation modes with a motor power of 262 W, capable of handling up to 600 m³/h of air flow. Users appreciate its quiet operation at lower speeds and effective odor removal, making it suitable even for larger kitchens. The LED lighting and easy-to-clean grease filter add to its convenience. However, some users find the noise level at maximum speed to be high and the price to be steep, suggesting that the cost is largely for the design rather than enhanced functionality. Despite mixed reviews on its noise level and extraction capacity, many agree that it is a reliable and efficient choice for those seeking a high-end, aesthetically pleasing kitchen appliance.

great model, love it

In my previous kitchen, I had a wall-mounted range hood and experienced all the troubles of maintaining it myself – it was hell! So this time, I chose only a built-in extractor hood. The first one I came across was Elika Hidden. To my shame, I hadn't heard of such ones before. I read reviews and found no negative ones, literally none. Everyone praises it. And now, after two years of using this hood, I can say it is well-deserved. It's really good. Even for my kitchen (15 sq.m, by the way), it is more than enough. I can fry fish, grill steaks, sauté, cook "fragrant" seafood – it completely removes the smell. Even in the hallway, there won't be any aroma, let alone in the rooms. Moreover, it works very quietly. I can put my child to nap in the afternoon, go and fry patties, and he won't wake up from the noise. It works quietly even at the most powerful third mode. It's very easy to maintain. The grease filter is easy to remove and clean too. I try not to let it get too greasy, remove it when it's not too dirty, wash it with a regular sponge and detergent, and put it back. The casing itself is also easy to clean; there are no protruding parts. By the way, the shut-off timer is a very convenient feature. When I put something in the oven, I turn on the hood for the same time and don't worry about the apartment, for example, smelling like baked fish. Overall, the hood is excellent. It might not be a popular brand, but it's definitely worth the money.

Super productive built-in Italian hood
25 May 2017
The redevelopment and overhaul of the kitchen took not only a lot of time, but also cost unrealistic money. The final amount exceeded the planned amount by about two and a half times and took out all our family financial nests. And all because appetites grew right in the process of repair. For example, my wife really wanted a hob with five burners, and even with a glass base, and even branded. And then it became clear that for such a surface and the hood is not quite ordinary.
It is a true Italian hood with outstanding technical performance and a discreet yet stylish design. Actually Italian roots just influenced its price. As for the technical part, this is probably the most powerful model on the market. I can't say if it pulls 1200 cubic meters per hour, but what it pulls is hell for sure, you can trust me. With its help, we even ventilate the apartment. We close all windows except the one farthest from the kitchen and turn on the hood to the maximum. At the same time, it sounds loud, but in ten minutes it is able to renew the air in at least half of the apartment. After that, there is no need to talk about whether it copes with pots))) The important thing is that it really works quietly at the minimum speed. The lighting of the cooking surface is modern LED.
The exorbitant cost, if it were not for the wife, I would never have given so much money for the hood. Loud noise at the third, maximum speed of the electric motor.
the price is purely for the design, the functionality is comparable to cheap models

It works, it runs, that's all.
I've been using it for over a year, before that I had a cheap pyramid for 600 UAH.

The expectations were high, but not met.

Don't believe the reviews above about silence; it's perfectly audible even at the first speed, all 52 dB, the TV at low volume is no longer audible.

Over time, the buttons get covered in grease and need to be cleaned with a thin toothpick, otherwise they'll just stick and won't press, never get ones with buttons on the bottom, never!!!

600 cubic meters, seems like marketing invention, at best it extracts 400 cubic meters at maximum speed.

It seems that only the former glory remains from Elica, nothing to boast about except the design; the functionality is comparable to no-name brand hoods for 1200-1500 UAH.

For that price, I recommend checking out hoods from other brands. Or assemble your own hood from S&P silent fans and a noise isolator with filters.
