Stylish, economical and reliable storage water heater with a stainless steel tank of 80 liters and a convenient electronic control system. The manufacturer is positioned as a model of the upper price category, which is designed to serve the hot water needs of a family of 2-3 people. Mounted on the wall, it can work for several points of analysis, simultaneously supplying the bathroom, shower room and kitchen. Unlike most low-cost water heaters with cylindrical tanks, this unit uses a flat design of tanks, which provides a shallower cabinet depth for installation in rooms with limited free space. In the manufacture of the internal tank of the water heater Electrolux EWH 80 Royal Flash, high-quality stainless steel is used with a high content of anti-corrosion alloying elements of chromium a...nd nickel, which ensures impeccable corrosion resistance throughout the entire life of the device. There is a system of professional antibacterial water treatment BSS (Bacteria Stop System), which is a cycle of thermal water treatment inside the tank, during which most of the microorganisms that are in the water and actively multiply when the device is not used for a long time die. This water heater is versatile in installation and can be installed both vertically and horizontally. It takes about 3 hours to heat the full volume to a maximum temperature of 75 °C.

Good heater
21 August 2017
The heater is excellent. It completely solves the problem with hot water, as it is large (80 liters is more than enough for a family of five for morning washing and getting ready), and it very effectively maintains the water at a hot temperature (never once managed to fully deplete it to the point cold water started flowing). It has a good ECO mode – in this mode, it saves electricity (I actually thought it would consume much more energy) and disinfects the water. The tank is stainless steel, with an 8-year warranty - that's reassuring :)

I DO NOT RECOMMEND BUYING
24 June 2020
I purchased an Electrolux EWH-80 Royal Flash boiler in May 2019. In November of the same year, 2019, water started dripping from the bottom lid of the boiler, and a week later, the RCD device on the power cord was tripping. Service center personnel came and identified the issue: the heating element had burst and melted the dry heating element tube, causing water to leak through the tube. The "dry" heating element and the tube it was located in were replaced. They also replaced the magnesium core to prevent scale buildup (for cash, as it is not included in the list of warranty parts). The boiler worked successfully for approximately one and a half months, and for the second time, the heating element burned out, even though all conditions for electrical connection were met, including earthing and connection to a separate automatic. Service center specialists once again performed a warranty repair, BUT... they informed me that if technical maintenance was not conducted by May 2020, i.e., by the warranty year (which, by the way, costs 1800 hryvnias out of pocket), I would lose the warranty, even though the product's manual states a 24-month warranty. And here we go again, today, 24.06.2020, after operating for 1 year and one month, the boiler has failed again (apparently, the heating element burned out, because the RCD is tripping). Since the boiler didn't undergo technical maintenance during this time (double repair does not count as technical maintenance!!!), I was deprived of the warranty! I chose Electrolux because I hoped it would be reliable equipment, especially since I also have a refrigerator and dishwasher from this manufacturer, which work in

good model, I liked it.

This is a small 30-liter premium-class electric water heater. You can tell this even from its appearance, as it looks like a true aristocrat with its shiny metal casing. Its modern look is accentuated by a digital temperature indicator showing the current temperature. In general, it fits perfectly into the new environment. However, it's not only good-looking but also effective in operation. The 30-liter capacity is heated by two so-called "dry" tubular electric heaters. They can operate together or separately. The total power is 2000W, which is quite decent for that volume of water. I'll say this: from a completely cooled state to a maximum of 75 degrees, the boiler heats up in about 75-80 minutes, but hot water can be drawn much sooner. In fact, ours operates in heating mode up to only 55 degrees. This is safe, as such heating doesn't lead to scale formation, and heat losses are minimal. An important feature is the presence of a timer; let's say the first patient arrives at 8:30, I set the timer for 7:30 in the evening, and by half-past eight the next morning, there is guaranteed hot water. It's also worth mentioning that the inner tank is made of high-quality chrome-nickel stainless steel. Thus, we can assume that the 8-year warranty on the tank will never be needed.
Relatively high price. A water heater of the same volume, but of a budget class, could be bought almost three times cheaper. Water is leaking from the safety valve. I thought it was a defect, but it turned out that this is his normal work.

The Electrolux brand is well known to the mass consumer for reliable and functional household appliances. Just the same, these qualities are endowed with a water heater EWH 80 Royal Flash, to be installed in both vertical and horizontal positions.

Tandem of "dry" heating elements

The basis of the "insides" of the model is a rectangular stainless steel tank with a high content of anti-corrosion alloying elements. The water in it is heated by two "dry" heating elements with a total power of 2000 watts. The user has the right to set the degree of water heating in the tank with an accuracy of 1 °C in a wide temperature range from 30 °C to 75 °C. The value of the selected temperature is shown by a digital screen on the front panel of the water heater.

Extended functionality

Along with the mission of heating and maintaining the temperature of hot water without significant fluctuations, which is facilitated by a 20 mm polyurethane foam thermal insulation layer, the boiler has acquired a number of useful additional options. Let's take, for example, a timer for delaying heating to a predetermined time(taking a morning shower, visiting the first client in a beauty salon, etc.). Those who want to save on energy costs will love the half power and economical operation modes, during which the water is heated up to 55 °C.

Operational nuances

Of the complaints in the reviews of the model, they often blame the non-standard cold / hot water supply (pipes have to be laid crosswise), tank leaks before the end of the warranty period and water leakage from the safety valve (solved by removing the tube from it to the sewer). You can turn a blind eye to possible problems due to the provision of an 8-year manufacturer's warranty on the water heater tank.
