Detailed FAQ on storage water heatersWe answer the most common questions regarding the installation and operation of storage water heaters
Model overview based on user reviews
The Electrolux EWH Royal series of water heaters is praised for its stylish design and compact size, making it an attractive addition to any home. Users appreciate its quick heating capabilities and the option for economical mode, which conserves energy by heating water to 55 degrees. The stainless steel tank is noted for its durability, although some users have experienced leakage issues after a period of use, which raises concerns about long-term reliability. Installation is generally straightforward, and the heater is easy to operate. However, some users have encountered problems with the tank rusting or bursting, suggesting potential manufacturing defects. Despite these issues, many find the heater to be a reliable and useful appliance during hot water outages. Overall, while the Electrolux EWH Royal series offers several benefits, potential buyers should be aware of the mixed reviews regarding its durability and consider regular maintenance checks.

I love beautiful things, especially things that catch my eye every day. Therefore, the choice of a water heater for me was not only a study and comparison of technical characteristics, but also an overview of design solutions. Based on a combination of factors, I chose the EWH 50 Royal model from Electrolux. It looks great, the filling is of high quality, and the brand is well-known enough not to worry about a possible failure in the next few years. Outwardly, this is the best boiler of those models that are now available for purchase. Looks great, real high-tech plumbing. The stainless steel water storage tank is an excellent solution to the main problem of water heaters - the corrosion damage of steel tanks. True, why a protective anode made of magnesium alloy is also installed in such a boiler, I do not understand. It can work at half the power of the heating element and in economy mode (heating water only up to 55 degrees). It quickly gains temperature. Fully warms up the tank in just over an hour. However, operating experience has shown that this speed is obtained not only thanks to a powerful heating element. Apparently, design features also affect, due to which, in fact, not the entire volume of the tank warms up. But about the sad below. Even after heating the water to the maximum temperature, no more than 30 liters of really hot water is obtained. After that, the temperature begins to drop rapidly and after 40 liters it becomes barely warm. For me personally, thirty liters is enough for a shower, but 50 liters are stated. |
Terrible review. We bought a boiler 2 years ago. During these 2 years, it was in use for a maximum of 6 months. The rest of the time, it was completely turned off. After 2 years, we turned it on - it started leaking. Called a repairman - your tank has rusted out, this can't be fixed, you can throw it away. It was only in use for 6 months at most, how did it rust?? Well, it might be a manufacturing defect, and actually, it's recommended to have a maintenance check once a year. This is written somewhere in the manual. I admit, we didn't read the manual, but the concept of RECOMMENDED does not mean "you absolutely must do it, otherwise the product will become completely unusable." This should be mentioned at the time of purchase, at installation (installed by certified technicians). I'm not even mentioning what the tank is made of, which rusts after 6 months of use and needs to be completely disassembled once a year, checked, cleaned (it's not guaranteed this will work as a preventive measure). Design Not reliable, quickly breaks down without the possibility of repair. When installing, they do not warn about the MANDATORY inspection within the specified time frame. use Electrolux EWH 50 Royal more than year |
The first one did not last long, they turned to the service center - they changed it, only had to wait three weeks (( Appearance, compactness, ease of operation. after three months of work, they noticed the release of water from under the hot water seal, then they found water under the pad on the buttons and from under the control panel. use Electrolux EWH 50 Royal month or more i recommend it don't buy |
