The speakers are not cheap, but in my opinion they are the most optimal in the entire Dynaudio line.

I had the chance to compare bookshelf speakers from different Dynaudio series. From the entry-level Emit series, the latest Evoke, and the penultimate Contour series. The Emit offers an honest sound, balanced mids, decent bass, and non-fatiguing highs. For their price and even a bit higher, in my opinion, they are hard to beat if you choose the right amplification.

The Evoke 20 surpasses them in all aspects: the soundstage is clearer and deeper, the mids are very melodious, the highs are cleaner and more transparent without harshness, and the bass is deeper and more well-defined. The difference in speaker class is especially noticeable in vocals; the speakers really sing rather than just play. The latest developments and technologies from the higher models have been used in these speakers. They are a class above the Excite and the previous Focus series. To be honest, I even liked their sound more than the higher Contour 20 speakers. The Evoke 20's highs may be slightly less detailed but are softer and more delicate.

And they look great too! No visible screws or holes. Very high-quality finish in veneer or lacquer.
Some of the best bookshelf speakers I've heard. They play at the level of twice as expensive Contour.
To unlock its full potential, you need a system of the appropriate class, especially an amplifier.
