Model overview based on user reviews
The Dunlop SP Sport Maxx GT tires receive mixed reviews from users. They are praised for their great road grip at high speeds, making them suitable for fast driving. However, they are noted to be sensitive to wet surfaces and can be noisy. Some users have experienced quick wear and stiffness, especially in run-flat versions, with reports of bulges and cracks appearing after limited use. While they perform well in certain conditions, such as mixed cycles and at high speeds, their durability and cost-effectiveness are questioned, with some users preferring other brands like Michelin and Continental. Overall, while they may look good and perform well under specific conditions, their quality and longevity may not justify the price for all consumers.

Driving for the third year, 40,000 km Great road grip at high speeds (200+) Sensitive to wet surfaces (heavy rain). Noisy use Dunlop SP Sport Maxx GT month or more |
it’s definitely not worth the money, at least in a narrow-profile version... so far the new one is running fine installed on a BMW M550d with a mileage of 18000 km, remaining rear tread is 3 mm, wears out too quickly, stiff - runflat. On the rear right, a bulge appeared - removed to check and it turned out that there is a crack inside about 15 cm long. Too expensive ... use Dunlop SP Sport Maxx GT 245/35 R20 95Y month or more |
I bought 2 Dunlop SP SPORT MAXX GT R19 101W at the beginning of last season, in exchange for the regular ones, (Dunlop SP Sport 270 235/55R19 101V 50000km - after three seasons, 2 left on the rear axle, they skated 15g + 15000km + 7000km in 16g .) In this synthesis they behave perfectly, at good speeds and under any conditions, when you clearly know what to do in each situation at speeds from 85 to 185 km / h !!! (mixed cycle - mountain / highway) I want to buy more in this GT R19 At speeds up to 80 km/h, they mimic the contours of our "bumpy" roads, making it seem like the car's camber/toe alignment is off!!! use Dunlop SP Sport Maxx GT 235/55 R19 101W month or more i recommend it should buy |
