Dune HD Neo 4K T2 Plus

The new generation of media players from the Taiwanese brand Dune, announced to the public at the very dawn of 2018, has become even more advanced from a functional standpoint compared to previous generations. This was greatly facilitated by the transition to the "OS" Android 6.0.

Senior in the family

The 4K T2 Plus model is the senior representative of the Neo series — not only has it been equipped with support for receiving and interpreting digital terrestrial television broadcasting signals, but additionally, the device has gained increased memory sizes: 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM. The built-in data storage can be used for installing applications and storing downloaded movies, and the set-top box can be complemented with a microSD flash drive or connected to an external storage device via one of the pair of USB ports.

Set of interfaces

The aforementioned ports are located on the right side of the Dune HD Neo 4K T2 Plus body. Even more wired interfaces can be found at the back: HDMI 2.0, Ethernet port, AV/OUT, optical output, and power connector. The design of the set-top box also includes Wi-Fi and Bluetooth communication modules — an essential feature of a modern media center for TV.

Universal soldier

The set-top box plays any videos in 4K format with 10-bit color depth and speeds of up to 60 fps, including HDR content. The powerful "hardware" also handles "three-dimensional" video (3D) without the slightest hesitation. The final touch is full support for Blu-ray images, elevating the model to the status of a universal solution capable of satisfying the demands of the most discerning movie enthusiasts.
