Doogee S88 Plus 128 GB
![]() | Outdated Product The smartphone represents the S series of secure devices from the Chinese manufacturer Doogee, which specializes in this area. This is a real tank that is not afraid of water, dust, falls (albeit from a small height), or extreme temperatures — thanks to the rubberized corners of the case, IP69 protection and the military standard MIL-STD-810. Because of this, the device turned out to be overall and weighty, but a certain zest to the design adds a multi-colour backlight in the style of the eyes of Iron Man — it can be configured for notifications and incoming calls. But all-round protection is far from the only trump card of the Doogee S88 Plus. Inside lies a real monster of battery life — a 10,000 mAh battery. The manufacturer claims that one charge will last up to 5 days of normal use, mo...re than a month in standby mode and 47 hours of talk time. The battery supports wireless, fast (24 W) and reverse charging, that is, the smartphone can act as an external battery and charge other gadgets. The front panel has a 6.3-inch display, covered with Gorilla Glass, with a resolution of 2340x1080 pixels and a waterdrop notch for a 16-megapixel front camera. On the back, there is a triple camera setup with a 48MP main sensor, an 8MP wide-angle lens, and an 8MP telephoto lens. Performance fell on the shoulders of the MediaTek Helio P70 processor, which works in conjunction with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory. By the way, memory can still be added using an additional card, but the slot is hybrid, so you have to choose between a second SIM card and a memory card. In addition, there is a side fingerprint scanner and an NFC for contactless payment for purchases. |

Terrible phone. Simply terrible. You can throw it and kill someone wireless charging and NFC 1. The IR port isn't working (it barely worked from the start, but okay, I could live with it), and now the fast charging doesn't work (it takes about 5 hours to fully charge). 2. Battery. It's not 10,000 mAh, no way, YouTube video lasted for 13 hours on WiFi. 3. The screen is completely t...e...r...r...i...b...l...e... The brightness is poor, almost invisible in sunlight, decent at dusk on full brightness. Returning to point 2, compared with the Huawei P40 Lite and ZTE A7 2020, in the first case, the video lasted 11.5 hours, in the second 10 hours (but the screen in the first case is much better). 4. Camera. It's clear it can't compare with Huawei... even though both are 48 MP, but on par with ZTE???? That's surprising... 5. Performance. I'm not strong with processors, but it works, the internet runs fine, the game (Mortal Kombat Mobile lags a bit, but it's playable), Android occasionally crashes any app, freezes, but overall no complaints about its work. The sound, by the way, is loud... Other issues. After a month, the screen fell out, just fell out... Replaced, stopped charging for a month, sat like a brick for a month, charging worked again, after two weeks it stopped again. Solved the problem wirelessly, and then a week later the screen just stopped working!!!! Just like that... Result of having it for half a year - three breakdowns, a month in service, a month and a half just lying around. Bottom line: I used it for only three months in total. Fictional durability, etc. (now waiting for the result of another repair). |
I'm head over heels in love with him)) Brutal, heavy, weighty. It’s responsive, holds a charge perfectly, you don’t even have to remember it for three days, and I actively use it a lot. Before it there was s 68 pro. She left me in the taxi, crying as if she had broken up with her loved one. Three months later I decided on a new one. Again a choice, again I thought about what. Well, there are no others like this that will sink into your soul like that. Definitely Doogee. And in the rain, and in the snow, and falls are not scary. For me there are no flaws in it. This is a conscious choice. I knew everything that was wrong with it before I bought it) he’s not a photographer, yes. But there are plenty of photo editors on the market, if you really need them. use Doogee S88 Plus few months |
I've been using it for 25 days, bought it on Aliexpress. The device is fantastic, I really like it. The battery lasts 3 days with heavy use. The Ips screen resolution is good, even compared to my daughter's Samsung A51 AMOLED screen. Plenty of memory, both RAM and built-in. It easily handles all heavy games at maximum settings, I was surprised, not worse than my old Honor 20 Pro. It's a bit heavy, but the appearance is stunning, draws more attention than the 12th iPhone. The camera is good in light, has a telephoto lens, but overall it's a bit weak compared to the Honor 20 Pro. It has some unique features that I liked. I'm not afraid to drop or submerge it. In clear water, the camera shoots fine. Screen, battery, armor-piercing, water resistance, memory, processor performs excellently, not afraid of cold, take it to the bath, etc. The camera is not perfect, although it depends on what you compare it to. It's a bit heavy, but I actually enjoy that. use Doogee S88 Plus less than month |
Doogee S88 Plus is a real tank with Iron Man eyes on the back of the case. Thus, in the design of the smartphone, a customizable color backlight was beaten, which is activated during calls, incoming messages and notifications from applications.
Ten thousand!
The model is assembled in a weighty case weighing 372 g and 18.7 mm thick. Such an impressive weight and dimensions of the device are explained by the use of a capacious 10,000 mAh battery as an autonomous power source. A full charge of the battery should be enough for about a week of smartphone operation in the mode without “heavy” loads or for an 18-hour marathon of watching videos. In a wired way, the battery is charged at a power of 24 W, and the battery of the device also supports wireless charging technology in both directions.
Complete protection
The smartphone belongs to the category of indestructible devices with protection against shocks, falls, dust and water. The model received IP68, IP69K and MIL-STD-810G protection certificates. Inside the heavily built case of the Doogee S88 Plus, there is an eight-core chipset from 2018 MediaTek Helio P70, whose venerable age is offset by a solid amount of RAM (8 GB). Built-in storage on board the smartphone has a capacity of 128 GB. The expansion tray of the model is hybrid - it is designed for a second SIM or a microSD card to choose from.
Flexible customization
The front panel of the device is occupied by a 6.3-inch Full HD + screen (2340x1080 pixels) with a drop-shaped “pattern” for a 16 MP selfie camera lens. The main photo module in the model is three-component - it combines 48 + 8 + 8 MP image sensors (leading sensor, ultra-wide and telephoto). Of noteworthy in the design of the smartphone, two customizable side buttons stand out, which can be customized in your own way. At the same time, the device got hold of an NFC module for contactless payment for purchases and a side fingerprint scanner. Doogee S88 Plus is a long-lived smartphone, which does not care about almost any adversity of the external environment.
