Cordless polishing machine with a 180 mm diameter pad. The device is designed for sanding and polishing painted, wooden, and metal surfaces of medium area. The brushless motor inside the DeWALT DCM849N polisher features a "soft start" function, allowing the tool to start smoothly without a jerk. The speed controller allows you to adjust the rotation speed of the attachment (800 – 2200 RPM) to suit different work conditions, materials, attachments, and used pastes or polishes. The rear handle and gearbox housing are fully covered with rubber pads, which provide a good grip and allow the user to control the pressure on the tool. The auxiliary handle can be installed for left or right-hand use. In this configuration, the polisher is supplied without a battery and charger, so a DeWALT 18V XR battery needs to be purchased for operation.
