How to Choose a Hammer DrillBrief instructions for choosing a hammer drill.
Model overview based on user reviews
The DeWALT D25134K rotary hammer is praised for its versatility and performance, making it suitable for both home and professional use. Users appreciate its quick-release chuck, allowing for easy transitions between tasks, and its minimal vibration which enhances comfort during prolonged use. The tool's impact force and ergonomic design are highlighted as key benefits, ensuring efficient operation across various materials. However, some users note the short cord length and the challenging activation of the crushing mode as minor drawbacks. The case, although made of quality materials, lacks a secure compartment for drills, which some find inconvenient. Despite these minor issues, the DeWALT D25134K remains a reliable and effective tool, with many users expressing satisfaction with its overall performance and build quality.

DeWALT D25134K 04BBE Great rotary hammer, it gets the job done quickly and efficiently. The removable chuck is very convenient, you essentially get two tools in one. I'm satisfied with the purchase, it's not my first tool from the DeWalt brand, and I have never been disappointed.

A very good hammer drill for home and country use.
10 June 2018
I’ve been using a hammer drill since the beginning of November 2017, I’ve used it many times and for different purposes (drilling wood and concrete, drilling with chiselling concrete, drilling tiles, beating mortar with a chisel, sanding) and I’m happy with everything, especially the presence of a high-quality quick-release chuck, but there are a couple shortcomings.
Price, assembly, weight, very convenient case, minimal vibration, quick-release chuck.
When I beat off the tiles, a little grease came out of the sds cartridge. The cord is not too long, but tolerable. A little noisy, but again tolerable.

good model, I liked it

A good hammer drill, I bought it a little over a month ago, it costs about 12,000, it worked in all modes, everything was fine, good impact force, fits comfortably in the hand
Of the minuses, the cord is short, the crushing mode is difficult to turn on, you have to turn the cartridge until it clicks, and as they wrote in the previous comment, it takes time to warm up, overall I’m happy

Exactly what is needed

The DeWALT brand needs no introduction: everyone who has or has dealt with it has long known that its technique is flawless in operation.

Rotary hammer model D25134K has three modes: drilling with impact, without impact and slotting. The power consumption of 800 W and the impact force of 2.8 J allow you to make holes in hard materials, loosen and remove plaster, asphalt, remove layers of concrete, brick. The rotary hammer is also suitable for installing anchors, installing electrical networks, communications, fastening household appliances, and performing finishing work. In addition to the SDS+ chuck, the kit also comes with a keyless chuck with a standard shank, which allows you to use the model as a drill/driver.

Functional and comfortable

The D25134K is ergonomically designed, although not the lightest at 3kg. But thanks to the additional handle, which contributes to an even distribution of the load on the hands, long-term work with the tool does not tyre. Rubber seals on the body and handle prevent hands from slipping, partially dampen vibration and protect against dust and dirt getting inside the tool.

The high frequency of impacts (5540 beats / min) makes it possible to quickly drill numerous holes, and the depth gauge eliminates the need for constant measurements, however, it is made of plastic and risks not living for a long time.

Necessary additions

The safety clutch will protect the master from injury, and the device from breakage if the load on the engine is exceeded and the tool jams in the material. With a brush reverser it is easy to remove the drill from the working environment of any density. D25134K has a strong, but, unfortunately, not long enough (up to 3 m) cord without a hinge, and a plastic case can accommodate very few additional accessories, so not everyone will find it convenient.

Model differences:
  • Model D25134K - without dust box
  • Model D25135K - with dust collector
