I had the S2721QS for a short time and now I have taken the S2721DS. 4K is too much for my PC. excellent picture quality as for me, my eyes don't get tired looking at it as I understand, DELL worked on blue light and flicker free it says 1000 contrast here, but after using the S2721QS which says 1200, I think the contrast here is better. So if I noticed that the S2721QS lacked contrast, I don't see that issue here. After using a 2013 Macbook, I wouldn't say it's worse than the Mac. It's better because the eyes are farther from the screen, and everything is much larger. the colors are distorted, everything is too bright, eye-popping. There are no settings to switch the monitor closer to black-and-white mode. I dug around for two days, luckily found the xrandr utility. Set myself xrandr --output HDMI-1 --set "color vibrance" "120" and peace and satisfaction came. |
Well, what can I say... This is my first decent monitor after an ancient 22-inch Samsung (TN), so please understand if I praise it too much... The first thing is undoubtedly the price and QUALITY ratio, and the latter can be felt in all the details, it's clear the manufacturer cares about their reputation! I really liked the stand - you can turn it any way you want, and it stands firm on the table like it's bolted down. And what a vertical lift - up, down with one finger, and it locks perfectly! Brightness of 350 at this price is hard to find... Free-Sync, 75Hz, the ability to manage settings from within Windows using Dell's proprietary utility. They're not available!
