Compact, elegant and fast, household-grade hand-held horn coffee maker with intuitive push-button controls for flavored espresso and espresso-based coffee drinks. A distinctive feature of this model was the small width of the stylish case, effectively finished with brushed and glossy stainless steel. Due to its modest size and thoughtful exterior design, it can successfully fit into a small kitchen with limited free space.
Designed to work with ground or tablet coffee in pods. The key feature of the De'Longhi Dedica EC 785.GY coffee maker, which determines its performance, is the use of a powerful flowing thermoblock as a heating element. Thanks to this constructive solution, the machine enters the operating mode in less than 30 seconds and immediately begins to prepare an aromatic drink (boiler carob coffee makers can warm up for 2-4 minutes).
It is also worth noting the impressive volume of hot water, heated by a thermoblock. It is significantly larger than what boiler models can make and allows you to quickly prepare two espressos in one cycle. The coffee maker is equipped with a metal holder, two cream filters and a stylish tamper. In the upper part of the case there is a platform for passive heating of cups. For preparation of a cappuccino there is a convenient manual cappuccino maker with a rotating suspension bracket.

The coffee machine was purchased as a gift for my wife. She really loves lattes and cappuccinos made from ground coffee. The machine itself is made very well; there's even a float in the drip tray to show how much water is in the reservoir. However, there are some downsides. For instance, when steaming milk, you need to do it several times because the heated steam lasts only about 15-20 seconds. In reality, to froth the milk well, you have to steam it 3-4 times. This takes about 3 minutes with all the pauses. It brews coffee well. If you don't pack it too tightly and not to the edge, it brews perfectly with hot water on the first try. You can actually make two cups of coffee with one load. From turning it on to starting the brewing process (pressing the desired mode), you have to wait about 4 minutes. The materials are high-quality, don't scratch, and are pleasant to use. My wife is happy. I didn't expect such quality myself. Yes, it's not automatic, but I don't mind spending 5 minutes making coffee. It's well-made. Even considering that it takes about 5 minutes on average to make coffee, and if it's milk with foam, then it takes 7-8 minutes, it turns out very high quality. I would like to point out that the steam nozzle consists of three parts, and all of them need cleaning after use. At first, I thought of listing this as a downside, but then I reconsidered and concluded that the quality of execution is flawless, and it's precisely because of this approach that everything turns out well. The only downside is the time it takes to prepare the machine for work. It takes about 4 minutes to heat up. This isn't always convenient, but if you plan ahead, it's manageable. ![]() |
