I thought for a long time about which trimmer to take: gasoline or electric, but I still decided to take an electric one, because it is simpler and easier to maintain, physically lighter (by 2-3 kg), no need to refuel, less noise and no exhaust gases. I chose the Daewoo brand trimmer because I have an electric saw of the same brand and have no complaints about its performance. The first thing that pleases the eye is that everything is well made, strong plastic, pleasant to the touch, without visible defects. The kit includes everything you need: keys, a 3T disk and a spool with fishing line. The trimmer is heavier than I thought, but tolerable. I managed to mow more than 10 hundredths with it - I am satisfied with its work. I mowed tall grass (about 80 cm), thick grass, small trees (up to 2 cm thick) - it coped with everything perfectly. There is enough power. Of course, under heavy load, the revolutions drop a little, but not critically. After 1.5 hours of work with small breaks, the engine is barely warm. The disc needs to be sharpened periodically, but I didn't make it as sharp as a kitchen knife. Several times I fell on stones, in sand - no problems arose. The volume of operation is quite noisy, but quieter than gasoline ones. In my opinion, it does not need headphones to work (just on the border). The vibration is noticeable after work, so I take at least small breaks to rest my hands for 30-60 seconds. It is good that there is a soft start function. The model is no longer manufactured and now the warehouse stocks are sold out, including those brought directly from Europe (as far as I understand, because they were brought to me from Poland, as it turned out from the warranty card in the box). There may be problems with replacement/repair parts in the future. You need to drag an extension cord with you, but you get used to it over time. The assembly instructions are unclear, I had to watch a video on YouTube. I would like the thickness of the handle where the start button was thinner, because over time the hand gets tired due to the large thickness and the need to constantly press the button. I chose for a long time. Met all expectations. There is enough power, but not much. Line put 3 mm. It works, it fits into the spool. Less is not worth it. Lightweight, not heated, there is lubrication in the gearbox. always want more power. |
