When I installed them, they didn't break. The sound is good even on a cheap guitar. Good brand. When I bought them, they were significantly cheaper than they are now. |

I chose DAddario Phosphor Bronze 12-52. Since these strings have a phosphor bronze coating, they don't glow, but at least it would be cool if they were corrosion-resistant. I assembled it, installed it, and watched a bunch of videos again on how to properly tighten the strings, and slowly tightened them. I must say frankly, to my amateur ear, it sounds quite good. The sound is clear and lively. But I still haven't learned to play the guitar, just a few chords.
