The car seat is designed for small children literally from birth up to 3 – 4 years old. Infants up to 60 cm tall are placed in the seat with a special reduction insert, which is then removed when it is no longer needed. Up to approximately 15 months, the seat is intended to be installed strictly rear-facing; thereafter, it can either remain in this position or be turned to face forward (at the parents' discretion).
The product is secured with Isofix anchoring system lock brackets. The child is held in the seat by five-point safety harnesses with soft shoulder pads. In the Plus modification, there is an additional built-in sunshade. The Cybex Sirona T i-Size features 12 headrest height adjustments and 5 recline positions (both for rear-facing and forward-facing installations). Child protection from side impacts is ensured by extendable L.S.P. protectors. The model is certified for a high level of safety according to the European standard ECE R129 i-Size.
