I couldn't find how to change the review here. Therefore, I will leave one more, in addition to the first one. It has been more than six months since I bought the headphones and I have identified serious shortcomings. Not so serious that I would run out and buy new headphones right now, but such that I would look for analogues 10 more times if I knew the above-mentioned shortcomings before buying these headphones. Since these are my first wireless headphones, I still I'll give it 7 out of 10 simply because I have nothing to compare it to. If there was something to compare with, the rating would probably be lower. The advantages are described in my next comment. The microphone button crackles. I even disassembled the headphones until I realized that nothing inside was detached. It's an annoying crackle. When you just sit still, it's not there, but as soon as you want to stretch your neck and start moving your head around, it immediately hits the ears. Idiotic on/off switching for the headphones. You have to hold the button for 3 seconds - it's annoying. They don't always turn on or off right away. Was it hard to make a simple push button or a switch? Very often, the sound doesn't turn on immediately and only comes on 20-30 seconds after turning on the headphones. You're sitting there waiting for the sound to start, rewinding a YouTube video at the beginning. It's a complete nightmare. There is no notification that the headphones are done charging, except for a light near a VERY INCONVENIENTLY LOCATED USB PORT. Do I have to take off the headphones every time and stare at the light? That's ridiculous. During charging, because of the stupid port location and long plug, it's very uncomfortable to sit with the headphones on. Fearing to loosen the already tense plug jutting into the shoulder, you don't move your neck at all, causing stiffness and neck pain. To check the headphone charging indicator, you have to perform a bunch of actions. I wrote to them asking to display a charging icon in the tray and got several responses like: "Oh, what a great idea, we'll pass it to the programmers, we'll definitely do it". Six months later - still nothing. The software is getting worse with each patch. When I first bought the headphones, it was good. Now it crashes all the time. |
Gorgeous, very comfortable thing. I haven't had the chance to test the microphone yet. P.S.: By the way! I completely forgot to mention: I have heard a lot about wireless headphones continuously emitting low-frequency noise. Particularly about these very headphones, I heard the same thing. Even with the volume turned up to the maximum, I can't hear anything at all. Not when nothing is playing, much less with music or other sounds. Very soft, comfortable ear cushions, good sound. They fit like a glove. No pressure anywhere, the ears fit normally. The headphones seem slightly heavy, especially compared to wired counterparts, but the weight isn't felt on the head at all. It's not pressure from the headphones that's felt, but a gentle enveloping sensation. The volume button on the left ear is awkwardly placed. When I hold that spot with my hand while taking off the headphones, the button is constantly pressed one way or another. The power is just a little lacking to cover the whole house. It's a bummer. I have to use the headphones only on the second floor where the computer is located, because on the stairs and sometimes downstairs, the connection drops. :( The signal power is just slightly insufficient... Just slightly... And I would like the price to be at least 2-3k less. |
A very good model, I bought it because I needed a good option for wireless headphones. Here's a subjective opinion. The review will be very short. Good RGB lighting, great sound. Not very good 7.1 |
Design by BMW
For a long time, Corsair was perceived as a manufacturer of memory, but in recent years, not without success, it has entered the gaming peripheral market. In 2018, they brought in BMW designers to collaborate and released an interesting Corsair Void Pro gaming headset.
Quality and convenience
Although the headphones are painted in a strict black colour, unusual pointed cups, the visual performance of the microphone and the RGB lighting of the logo literally scream about their gaming nature. And in appearance, corners and diagonals dominate. By the way, not so long ago, Corsair updated the line by releasing several multi-coloured models that do not hide their essence. Especially people are attracted to yellow and black, which creates strong associations with sports cars. As for the workmanship, it is at a high level, the plastic is strong, the foam ear cushions turned out to be dense and comfortable (they remember the shape of the ear), and the fasteners between the temple and the swivel cups are made of metal, which adds to the model of longevity. Plus, they are also very comfortable, the head practically does not get tired during the gaming session.
There is not much bass
Corsair used two 50mm neodymium drivers, so surround sound is inherently virtual. In Standard mode, the headset delivers detailed and airy sound, with voices sounding pleasing, although they lack a bit of clarity. Volumetric panorama and positioning in space is displayed perfectly. In general, the Corsair Void Pro, like most of its brothers, has a bias in the bass, so do not ignore the equalizer if you plan to listen to music. In games, it sounds juicy and percussive without any adjustments.
Surround sound and built-in headset
When it comes to surround sound, it all comes down to personal preference. The sound picture becomes more voluminous, with closed eyes it feels like you are in a larger room, but the accuracy of the sounds is predictably lost. The microphone turns on automatically, it is worth folding the bow inward. The voice is captured cleanly and flawlessly. The noise reduction system works well, background sounds are filtered out.
