Model overview based on user reviews
The Cooper&Hunter Arctic CH-S09FTXLA air conditioner is a reliable and efficient split system designed for spaces up to 26 m². Users appreciate its quiet operation and effective cooling, making it a great fit for maintaining comfort in both summer and winter. The unit features a temperature display on the indoor unit, which is visible from any corner of the room, enhancing user convenience. While the design and functionality are praised, some users have reported issues with noise levels and the durability of the compressor, with a few experiencing breakdowns after extended use. Despite these concerns, the product is generally well-received for its price-to-quality ratio and seamless integration into home interiors. Overall, the CH-S09FTXLA is recommended for its performance and affordability, though potential buyers should be aware of the reported noise and reliability issues.

Good all-rounder
28 January 2016
I bought this and a couple of smaller models from Cooper to implement a microclimate system in the house. The calculation was that it works in a wide range of outdoor temperatures from +40 to -25 degrees, which means it will be able to maintain comfortable 22..25 degrees for living all year round. The lower limit, of course, could have been more, but there already such equipment costs many times more. Even taking into account not the lowest price, I can say that the device is great for automatically maintaining the microclimate, as far as I know there are two sensors in it: one in the indoor unit, and the second in the remote control itself, and as soon as the temperature drops below the set one, it turns on and heats the entire room . Special anti-icing and hypothermia modes automatically monitor the outdoor unit, so I don’t worry about it either. What else I liked about it is the appearance of the part installed in the house. Firstly, everything is harmonious and proportional, and secondly, the display is disguised in such a way that you only know where it is when the air conditioner is on, the temperature is displayed in large white font, which is also visually pleasing. The remote control has a large backlit screen, all indications are clearly visible, the only thing that I don’t like is that half of the buttons are bunched together and it’s not very convenient to use them because of this.
Large airflow area for the price. Several of these devices can completely replace traditional gas heating systems. Well-thought-out modern design, the device does not spoil the interior.
Inconvenient scatter of buttons on the remote control. So I could not change the actual direction of blowing. Some kind of illogical instruction, if it weren’t for the Internet, maybe it wouldn’t have burst.

Good option with a bunch of automatic features
29 January 2016
I bought this for the bedroom before summer started and so far, it's been great. Throughout the summer, from the first heat to the arrival of serious cold, I ran it in all available modes. Now I can say that I wasn't wrong with the purchase, and the air conditioner did an excellent job during its first season. Design of the indoor unit, although not the ART series from LG, played a significant role in my choice. The device blends almost seamlessly with the white wall, and the large white numbers on the case look very impressive. Plus, the display shows the current mode with the temperature, so you don't need to search for the remote to check it. The air conditioner works quietly, it's not even heard at night, which is more than I can say about my neighbors' DELPHI. The remote, in terms of button placement and display size, reminds me more of a phone. Frequently used buttons are large and always end up under the thumb unless you try to hold the remote in some sophisticated way. The display of temperature and main modes is immediately noticeable, you don't have to look for it, plus it has a backlight. The only thing that's annoying is the water dripping on the external body, running off our window sill during rain. The metal of the body isn't very thick, so the water drops make quite a bit of noise.
So many additional functions that it takes a week to figure them all out.
No cover for draining water falling at an angle on the outdoor unit. Complex instruction.

There will be an opportunity, I will definitely buy a fourth one ....

I bought three pieces of this model in the fall of 2015 for additional heating of a private house. The installation was carried out by experts. Energy saving is completely satisfied. There are troubles in the remotes - they don’t show the temperature ... Already tested at -17 ° C - the temperature is +22 in the house they support ...
Design. Quiet.
There is no proper user manual. Out of three installed, one has vibration of the outdoor unit during the defrost mode...
One filter instead of the three claimed.
