Model overview based on user reviews
The Clatronic JM 3344 yogurt maker is a popular choice for those seeking an affordable and efficient way to make homemade yogurt. Users appreciate its affordable price and high-quality glass jars, which are durable and preferable over plastic alternatives. Despite its simple design, it performs its functions well, producing tasty yogurt. However, the lack of a timer requires users to manually monitor the fermentation process. Some users have noted issues with overheating, which can affect the quality of the yogurt by killing beneficial bacteria. To mitigate this, some suggest using a thermostat or adding water for uniform heating. Overall, the Clatronic JM 3344 is recommended for its value and effectiveness, though users should be mindful of potential overheating.

A good yogurt maker, you just need to purchase a special thermometer and experiment with temperatures and fermentation times for the starters, i.e. get creative with the cooking process!
Glass jars, good design.

Products of the German brand Clatronic are distinguished by good functionality and affordable cost. The JM 3344 yogurt maker is no exception to this rule.

Army of fans

The model is presented on the shelves of stores not the first year in a row. During her presence on the market, she managed to win an army of fans among those who prefer to cook tasty and healthy fermented milk treats with their own hands using natural products and pure starter cultures. The recipe for making yogurt in Clatronic JM 3344 is very simple — just mix milk and sourdough, pour the finished “cocktail” into 7 jars with a capacity of 160 mL and arrange them in the shape of a flower in the working chamber.

Self control

The milk mixture should mature in the apparatus for 6-8 hours. But since there is no timer in service with the model, you need to time yourself so as not to overexpose the product. Each glass jar comes with a screw-on plastic lid. Thus, ready-made yogurt can be taken with you as a snack.

Nuances of operation

In some reviews of the model, there are reproaches that the device overheats the raw materials. If such a problem occurs, it can be overcome by using a lining made of cardboard or thick paper, which is an intermediate link between the walls of the chamber and glass cups. However, for the most part, Clatronic JM 3344 is doing well with the temperature regime and the output is really tasty and healthy yogurt with live bifidus and lactobacilli.
