Model overview based on user reviews
The Chieftec Libra без PSU is a high-quality and simple mini tower case that supports micro-ATX motherboards and offers a convenient assembly process. Users appreciate its lack of bright indicators, making it suitable for dark environments without causing distractions. The front panel is equipped with essential connectors, including USB 2.0 and USB 3.2 gen1, and provides easy access. The case is well-constructed and affordable, featuring dust filters and a removable side panel. While some users noted a minor issue with the headphone plug, it was easily resolved. Overall, the Chieftec Libra is a great choice for simple systems, offering a good balance of cost and quality, with a decent appearance and practical features.
Pros
Cons
there are 10 of these at work, no questions, everything is convenient, no complaints simple, at the same time high-quality, no questions asked during assembly, it was done with intelligence and understanding of the process, it’s all top tech there are none as such, I would like a quieter unit fan, but it’s difficult to demand something for the money from this vendor |
If you are not assembling a very sophisticated system for yourself, then you can take such a case. Inexpensive, looks decent, what else do you need... The cover on the face is not at all relevant, but if you don’t use the drives often, then it won’t irritate you. And in extreme cases, it’s not difficult to tear it off. As for the ratio of cost and quality, this case is really quite good. What I liked most was the lack of bright indication - even in a completely dark room, the indicators do not dazzle or interfere with work or sleep. The front panel has all the necessary connectors and access to them is easy. It is assembled with high quality and is inexpensive. I was pleased with the presence of dust filters. Yes, it seems there are no... However, the headphone plug on the front panel turned out to be faulty. At first I thought I connected it incorrectly. However, after fiddling around I was convinced that everything was fine with my hands. After replacing the plug everything started playing. |
