Model overview based on user reviews
The Chieftec Compact SFX series, including models like the CSN-450C, CSN-550C, and CSN-650C, is praised for its compactness, modular cables, and efficiency. Users appreciate the detachable cables and smart temperature control features. However, a common issue across reviews is the noisy fan, which some users have addressed by replacing it. While some users report excellent performance and reliability, others have experienced serious flaws, such as poor soldering and component issues. Overall, the PSU is suitable for those who can manage or tolerate the noise, with some modifications potentially enhancing its performance.

It's worth buying, with modifications in the future.

Disassembled (voided the warranty) and removed the noisy fan, installed a different one in its place, routed the wires outside and connected them to the motherboard to manually set the desired speed. Now it's not noisy at all and doesn't overheat - tested it by running stress tests for half an hour, then turned it off and touched the heatsinks inside with my hands - not hot.
Compactness. Power. Modular cables. Cool even under heavy load.
Noisy fan. The motherboard power cable is not black like the others.
For lovers of silence, the cooler can be easily replaced, it is on a 2-pin connector.

Beautiful, modular, convenient, reliable, turns off the cooler when idle, there is a smart temperature control of the cooler.
The cooler is noisy, it creaks, but not much on my hardware, since it loads it weakly.

It will work only if you use 200 watts.

Bought a slim case Node 202. It has an i7 8700k and an overclocked GTX 1080ti. The cooler on the CPU is small, was afraid it would be noisy at 5 GHz. Imagine my surprise when the loudest element in the PC turned out to be this PSU! The noise from this infernal buzzer is about two to three times louder than the noise from the other components. Now I have to either modify it or sell it.
Cute, cables are detachable.
Noisy!
