I bought a camera for making calls with colleagues; before that I only used the one that was pre-installed in the laptop. The difference between them is colossal - if the quality of the laptop camera barely reached 320p, then in the new Full HD, as far as I can tell.

Pricey for its quality.

I recommend using the camera in daylight or artificial lighting with a temperature not lower than 5000K. Otherwise, the image turns green or yellow and cannot be corrected with white balance.

Decent HD image quality at 30 frames per second.

The white balance is not adjusted when using light with a temperature below 4500K. Manual focus only, but the depth is great.

I purchased a Canyon CNS-CWC6 webcam - the best model for staged filming. I searched on the Internet, and according to all the characteristics, it was exactly what suited me. The tripod mount was important to me. Camera with manual adjustment, noise-cancelling microphone and wide viewing angle. It has been working as a “Swiss watch” for over a year. Looks good, has a strong mount. Great depth of focus.
