Model overview based on user reviews
The Canon PG-445 8283B001 ink cartridge is designed for Canon PIXMA printers and offers a page yield of 180 pages with pigment-based black ink. While it is noted for being affordable, user reviews highlight significant concerns about its longevity and cost-effectiveness. One user reported that the cartridge ran out quickly despite minimal printing, while another mentioned that the cartridges stopped working after three months, necessitating refills that only temporarily extended their life. The cost of replacement cartridges is considered high, leading some users to suggest that purchasing a new printer might be more economical. Overall, the product is seen as having serious flaws in terms of durability and value for money.

I fully support the previous author. Cheaper to buy a new printer

the black cartridge, even the new one I bought, ran out in a couple of weeks, and it’s not like I print a lot of documents

Do not chase pop for cheapness ................... Again deception of buyers
The only advantage - CHEAP. Bought in 2015 for 1780 rubles in SPb (could have been even cheaper).
Cartridges stopped working after about 3 months.
The cartridges stopped working after 3 months. I had to make holes in the cartridge cases and refill them with ink, which lasted another couple of months. After the second refill with ink, the black cartridge completely "died" and is no longer refillable, while the color one is still alive! Buying a new one makes no sense, as it costs 1300 rubles-1600 rubles each! That's the PRICE OF A NEW PRINTER! It's more economical to throw it away and buy a new one!
