wonderful model, really honored
24 December 2024
A long time ago, my father bought a rotary hammer drill for home use, to do house repairs at the country house, drill something in the garage. Its name was Bosch PBH 2200 RE. A wonderful device. We did a lot with it. And when I got my own house, my father gave me... not the old rotary hammer, but a brand-new Bosch PBH 2500 RE. After all, who knows what tomorrow will bring, but there's always room for a good tool at home.

Unlike the old rotary hammer, this one has a few more features. If the old one could drill without impact and drill with impact, this one has added the jackhammer function. And that's great because once I had to chip into concrete stairs, and for that, I had to use some bulky Soviet-era equipment. In all other aspects, it's the same Bosch rotary hammer I'm used to, well, the case is a bit sleeker, and it's not as noisy. The device comes in a great branded case for convenient storage (I don't know about you, but I like this).

As for the rotary hammer itself, it's a household appliance. For small home repairs or construction tasks. You can tell just by looking at it. I have a professional rotary hammer at work, I know what that's like. It's a thing that weighs over 5 kg, with a motor the size of this entire Bosch. So yes, it's a device for home use just in case, if you need to anchor under a shelf, channel for cables between rooms, mix adhesive/mortar, and remove tiles. That's what this rotary hammer is for.
Relatively quiet (until it starts hammering the wall)
It could use more power, at least 800-1000W. A few branded drill bits of popular size could be included in the set.
