Model overview based on user reviews
The BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A KO tires are highly praised for their versatility, durability, and strong sidewalls, making them suitable for a variety of terrains, including city streets, off-road, and intercity travel. Users appreciate the improved comfort on asphalt and the excellent performance on loose sand and moderate mud. However, they caution that the tires can become "plastic" in cold weather and are not ideal for icy conditions. Despite the high price, many find the investment worthwhile due to the tires' minimal wear over extended use and their ability to handle different road conditions effectively. Overall, these tires are recommended for those who prioritize off-road capability and durability, with the understanding that they may not be the best choice for winter driving.

I've only used it for one season so far and haven't found any serious drawbacks. If you're just driving on city streets and not speeding across fields, it's quite decent. You do need to be very careful on icy roads, though. However, that's relevant for all-season tires. But icy roads are still rare in our area. There are no complaints on dry, wet, or snowy roads. Quiet, comfortable, durable. Thought there would be much more noise. The price is clearly inflated. ![]() |
Excellent rock climbing tires. Good for daily city/intercity use. Versatility, strong sidewall, wear resistance 1. "Horse" price tag 2. Becomes "plastic" in the cold ![]() |
Using these tires for the third season on a Chevy Niva 215/70, I was amazed at how much comfort improved on the asphalt and how off-road capability increased. On loose sand, they're just fantastic. Over three seasons, I've driven 60,000 km, and the wear is minimal. All good things are expensive, not recommended for use in winter. ![]() |
