Model overview based on user reviews
The Ballu Camino Evolution BEC/EVE-2000 is a well-designed convector heater with a unique shape that creates optical illusions, making it visually appealing. It features a large air intake grid and an aluminum cast X-shaped closed heating element, which enhances heat dissipation and allows for quick heating of large spaces. The electronic controls are user-friendly, enabling temperature setting, power adjustment between 1000 or 2000 W, and a control lock, which is beneficial for families with children. The heater is also equipped with an air ionizer and is well-protected against water ingress, making it suitable for humid environments like bathrooms. However, the ionizer's effect is not noticeable, and the electronic thermometer tends to overstate the temperature by 2-3 degrees. Overall, this model is reliable and comes with a standard two-year warranty.
Pros
Cons
I have an air conditioner of this brand and I'm satisfied with it. I also got a convector from the same manufacturer and didn't go wrong either. You can instantly tell that professional designers worked hard on it. The body has an interesting and unusual shape that seems to be pyramidal. In reality, there is no pyramid here; the shape is a perfect parallelepiped, but due to design features, some optical illusions occur. The convector's construction is well thought out. At its base, there's a large air intake grid, through which you can easily see the ribs of the aluminum cast X-shaped closed heating element. This is a special air heater with an increased heat dissipation area, capable of quickly heating a large volume of cool air. The convector features convenient electronic controls that allow you to set the desired temperature and monitor the current one, set a delay for turning off the convector, and adjust the power (choose between 1000 or 2000 W). You can also lock the controls, which will surely come in handy for my wife and me later – we're already making plans about having a baby. The manufacturer also included an air ionizer. The convector body and the electric cord are well protected from water ingress, allowing them to operate comfortably in humid conditions, like in a bathroom. The warranty is standard, two years. I personally don't feel the effect of the ionizer at all. Also, I was surprised by the inaccuracy of the readings of the electronic thermometer on the control panel. It consistently overstates the temperature by 2-3 degrees, and this should be noted. |
