How to choose an air conditionerThe main criteria to consider when choosing an air conditioner

What is the difference between a cheap air conditioner and an expensive one?Is it worth paying more when buying an air conditioner? Let's take a look at the pros and cons.
Model overview based on user reviews
The Ballu BSW-07HN1 air conditioner is a wall-mounted split system designed for rooms up to 23 m². It features modes like automode and night mode, and functions such as a timer and auto restart. The cooling and heating capacity is 2300 W, with a maximum airflow of 420 m³/h. The unit is relatively quiet with a maximum noise level of 32 dB. However, user reviews indicate several concerns. Some users experienced quick breakdowns and long waits for replacement parts, leading to dissatisfaction. Noise issues are also noted, with both indoor and outdoor units being described as noisy, which can be disruptive. Additionally, there are complaints about the quality of the plastic casing, which may produce clicking noises. While the air conditioner has a sleek appearance and offers decent cooling, these issues suggest that potential buyers should consider these factors before purchasing.

I bought this model on the recommendation of a relative who has Ballu BSWI-24HN1 at home. Only one letter differs in the name, but in practice the differences are more than serious. He has an expensive inverter model with class A energy efficiency, and I have a conventional class B air conditioner. Unfortunately, the differences do not end there and they are not in favor of my device. Cools the room well. But, in all modes of fan speed, except for the slowest one, it is noticeably noisy. The outdoor unit is constantly making noise. The noise is not that strong, but I suspect that the neighbors sleeping with open windows are not happy. Able to remember the settings when turned off and automatically restore them when starting. It uses a reliable Japanese compressor from Toshiba. It looks nice on the outside. But, when you look at it closely, you can see the seams and the loose fitting of the body elements. Convenient and easy to read screen on the indoor unit showing the temperature and the current operating mode. For about two weeks while the air conditioner was operating, there was a distinct smell of plastic. And this despite the claimed deodorizing effect! Sometimes after turning it on or off, creaks or clicks of the plastic body are heard, which kind of hints at the fact that the plastic is thin and "flexes." The buttons on the remote control don't always work on the first try. Sometimes you have to press the same button two or even three times. If it were about 30% cheaper, there would be no questions, but as it stands, I consider its price unreasonably high. |
I do not recommend to anyone, the air conditioner is not worth a penny. price, cooling, functionality two months after the installation, it was already possible to take the compressor to the service - the compressor burned out. service - month checks are still being repaired. use Ballu BSW-12HN1 month or more i recommend it don't buy |
No The worst split-system, before this split system, I used a system from DAEWOO, and there were no problems. After moving to a new apartment, I decided to install BALLU. It's something terrible, you can't sleep with the system working, there's a terrible noise throughout the entire apartment—the casing clicks. The most "interesting" thing is that the manual states, "this is normal, the casing deforms when cooling, making clicking noises." It seems to be the lowest quality plastic because there are split systems at work and relatives have other brands, and no clicks can be heard. With these clicks, not only is it impossible to sleep, but you can't even hear the TV if the volume is moderate. Never buy systems from this brand!!!! use Ballu BSW-09HN1 month or more i recommend it don't buy |
