Model overview based on user reviews
The Bailong Police BL-6866 is a headlamp known for its excellent light output and versatile lighting modes, making it a popular choice for activities like fishing, hiking, and work in low-light conditions. It features a maximum luminous flux of 500 lm and a lighting range of up to 500 meters, with adjustable focus and brightness levels. Users appreciate the convenience of the head mount, which keeps hands free, and the inclusion of both car and standard chargers. However, the flashlight has some drawbacks, such as a weak strap and subpar battery performance with the included battery, prompting some users to purchase higher-quality replacements. Additionally, the flashlight is noted to be heavy, which can cause discomfort during prolonged use, and there are concerns about its moisture protection. Despite these issues, many users find it to be a reliable and effective tool, especially with a better battery.

It shines very worthily, if you set the smallest spot, it hits 700 meters, but on condition of a well-charged battery. I bought this model for a trip, in which it shone almost continuously for 4 pm, although the last one was noticeably dimmer, but it all depends on the quality of the battery. I didn’t like the strap, as it is a bit weak, but if you pull it harder, it basically holds. It's nice that there is a charger in the car. Excellent light, lighting modes, price Strap |
i recommend having a second battery in stock i’ve been using it for over a year, it’s always with me: fishing, in the car, and at work. no |
I work as a plumber and go down to the basements of apartment buildings, if not every day, then every other day for sure. Without such a lantern there is nothing to do there at all. Mounting on the head is the most important convenience for me. At the same time, my hands remain free, and this is my main and most demanded working tool. Helps a lot in basements. Previously, I had an ordinary hand-held flashlight, so with it there was always a hassle in terms of where to put it, so that it would shine where it was needed lying down. Right there, such a moment simply does not arise, the lantern can not only shine straight ahead, but also go down 90 degrees and shine directly into the hands. In addition, the width of the light beam is adjustable. You can collect it into a beam and then it will hit 100 meters or even more at full brightness, or defocus it into a wide cone and illuminate a decent raster in front of you. Brightness is adjustable and can be set to maximum or normal. I sometimes turn on the maximum, but not often. Usually, the normal mode is enough for the eyes. It also has good impact protection. The glass around the perimeter is covered with a well-protruding metal aluminium edging. There are two chargers in the kit - car and for operation from a 220v network. The battery from the kit is a rare piece of nonsense. Even in normal mode, it lasts only an hour and a half. I had to buy branded Sony. With him, everything is completely different, it shines for six to eight hours. I can't say for sure, I didn't check it. The flashlight itself is a little heavy, which is why the headband elastic band begins to stretch. |
