Great camera. The video quality is decent. Mount normal, easy to adjust the angle of inclination and rotation. Not flimsy, nothing dangles anywhere. Easy to connect. Image quality, body material, fastening - all at a high level. There is a mount for a tripod. Did not find in 2 years of use |
And it didn't work for six months when the image started to fall. I took it for video calls, I fell in love with the brand. It worked normally for the first six months, then the war started and it was somehow not suitable for video calls, when everything was adjusted again, I saw that the picture was pouring, flashing. Terrible, if I had known that it was of such quality, I would have bought something else. The problem is in all applications, in zoom, discord, OBS. It helps for a while to pull out the yuzb and stick it in again, but it solves the problem for ten minutes. I don't even know what it could be connected with. It seems to be working, and then suddenly it starts producing artifacts. Maybe overheating. It's disgusting that I won't hand it in under the guarantee. So, the camera itself is really not bad when it does not artifact. Nice looking, really cool mount for both tripod and monitor... but what's the point when it doesn't work as it should. The USB version does not play a role, I tried both 2.0 and 3.0. good design, a good base for a monitor, table, tripod, pantograph. A relatively good image. Shoots well in low light. The image is glitchy. |
I've been using the Asus Webcam C3 for several years, and honestly, the camera turned out to be really weak. At first glance, it seems like the quality should be normal, but in real use, the picture constantly flickers, and noise appears, especially if the lighting isn't perfect. Even in good light, the image looks "dirty," lacking sharpness, and the colors are faded. The delay is also noticeable — sometimes it feels like the camera can't keep up with the movements, everything lags a bit. For streaming or video conferences, it's a total disaster. After several years of use, the impression has only worsened — the camera isn't falling apart physically, but it can't perform its intended function. If before you could switch it to another USB and forget about its problems for a few hours, now the picture is all over the place, and switching doesn't help. So, it's impossible to stream with it, and you can't make calls with it. It's now become a local joke among my friends. Maybe I would have liked something if it worked... Maybe the long wire is a plus for it A complete drawback, a camera that can't be used as a camera. It's Asus, a company that should have some quality standards. It would have been better to go for something like Fifine or Logitech, or splurge on AverMedia. |
