Model overview based on user reviews
The Asus ROG Strix Go BT headphones offer a mix of pros and cons for users. They come with a hard carrying case and allow for wired connection, which enhances sound quality significantly compared to Bluetooth. The headphones are ergonomic and provide a smooth sound experience, ideal for gaming. However, they have a few drawbacks, such as the automatic power-off feature after 5 minutes of inactivity when connected via Bluetooth, making them unsuitable for use as earplugs or a headset in noisy environments. Additionally, they lack multipoint connectivity and cannot connect to iOS devices. The build quality is decent, but the plastic is easily soiled, and the ear pads can cause sweating. While they support Bluetooth 5 with aptX Adaptive and offer a long battery life of over 20 hours, the sound is described as flat and not expressive, which may not satisfy audiophiles. Overall, they are not considered a universal solution and may not justify their price for some users.
Pros

Cons

They either work through a wire, or there must be something constantly sounding.

Doesn't qualify as a universal thing.
There is an equalizer for Win10, Android, or the AppStore. But it's through the awkward Armory Crate from Asus.
Hard carrying case for transportation.
Ability to connect via wire for voice communication.
Sound quality through the wire is significantly better than via air.
When connected via Bluetooth, if nothing is playing through the headphones, after 5 minutes, you hear a voice message "power off," and they turn off. Therefore, you can't use them as earplugs in a noisy place or as a headset for the phone. Watching a movie - step away to the fridge for 5 minutes - they turn off! Want to nap with noise cancellation in silence (train, plane, car) - you have 5 minutes. Who thought of this?
At maximum noise cancellation, they pick up high frequencies from their own speakers (less noticeable in medium mode, but still present).
No multipoint.
I took both music and games as a universal thing. The sound is certainly not Dali, but it’s ok for me.

I wouldn’t say that they are made of premium plastic; for such a price they could have done better. The sound over the wire is a little better. These ears are definitely not for audiophiles. The bass can be adjusted programmatically in the OS or in the application from ASUS, and then only on Android, here we can say a big minus! For those who would like to connect them to an iPhone, forget it, they won’t connect to it, it’s simply not worthy for a company like ASUS!
Ergonomic. There is no pressure on the ears. Smooth sound. That's what games are all about! Nice build! The ear pads are of high quality, although after a while the ears begin to sweat. The sound is clean and smooth.
Only two: bass and not being able to connect to iOS
use Asus ROG Strix Go BT less than month
I didn’t buy it, it’s expensive and the sound is so-so, not for these grandmas for sure!

Pleasant materials, not bad on the head, Bluetooth version 5 with aptX Adaptive support, long working time over 20 hours, weight is not too high 300g is normal
Headphones are made of easily soiled plastic, they rub quickly, a structure with swivel cups can easily break, ear pads are leather, ears will sweat, the price is space. Yes, the sound is subjective, but I didn’t like it flat and not expressive, it seemed quiet to me
