Bargain-priced gaming laptop
Demanding gamers regularly have to deal with the harsh reality when a conditional Cyberpunk 2077 is on the nose and you need a GTX 1070-level graphics card, but there is enough money for something simpler. The other part of the players does not need a super-powerful filling; for online cutting in Call of Duty or WOT, moderate iron is enough. It is for such gamers that we chose the Asus TUF Gaming FX505DT laptop, which seems to us one of the most interesting low-cost gaming laptops on the market.
Shockproof, military-grade housing
The strength of the model is a stylish, high-quality and well-assembled body that does not twist, crunch or play. According to the official website, the company's engineers focused on reliability, thanks to which the laptop was certified according to the military standard MIL-STD-810G. The comfortable RGB-backlit keyboard also deserves praise, and the laurels for the fact that the laptop turned out to be moderately quiet and cold should be equally divided between a high-quality cooling system and relatively modest hardware.
Ryzen 7 eight-thread processor and GTX 1650 graphics card
In terms of filling, the picture is as follows: an eight-thread Ryzen 7 processor with a maximum frequency of 4 GHz is paired with a GTX 1650 graphics card, the SSD is 512 GB, and the RAM is 8 GB. Given the additional slot for the second bar, we do not see this as such a problem. Especially given the price tag just under a thousand dollars. Perhaps the main weakness of the TUF Gaming FX505DT is not in this, but in a very economical display: a 15-inch Full HD IPS-class matrix does not shine with colour reproduction and cannot boast of a high refresh rate. The available 60 Hz is not at all up to 144 Hz, which has become the de facto standard in gaming monitors.

My brother has an ASUS ROG laptop, and now I have a TUF. Mine is cheaper, but it still handles games well. His has a Ryzen 4600H, and mine is a 3750H, which is enough for me. It has 12 GB of RAM, but there's no Windows, which is where I, like, saved some money. Fast. I like the screen. There is enough space on the disk, but it is not a problem to replace it at any moment.
