Model overview based on user reviews
The Aquaphor DWM-101S Morion water filter, designed for under-sink installation with reverse osmosis, has received mixed reviews from users. While its relative compactness is noted as a positive, significant concerns have been raised about the product's quality. Users reported issues such as system leaks and the presence of technical lubricant in the water, which is alarming for a drinking water system. Customer service has been criticized for its poor response and lack of support, with suggestions for paid technician visits or long service wait times. Overall, the product seems to require considerable time and effort to address these issues, leading to dissatisfaction among users.

short: You are offered to pay 11,490, then spend 3-6 hours over a couple of days solving quality issues at the expense of your time, and after that drink water with technical lubricant. This is after you bought a drinking water system. once again: drinking water with technical lubricant from Aquaphor. in detail: On March 8, 2021, I ordered the Aquaphor DWM-101S Morion with "free" installation on the official website. On March 12, the installer set everything up and left. A few hours later, the system started leaking at the body joint. The installer returned, replaced the valve, but this didn't help. The next day, the installer replaced the valve again and so far (3 days) it hasn't leaked. The installer did his best to solve the problem, but he can't influence the quality of the product. And after all this, a problem surfaced that has been around for ages and the manufacturer doesn't care about solving it, namely an oily film on the water. I've drained the tank completely about 10 times, and the lubricant hasn't gone away. I took out the spout of the faucet on the sink and washed both the spout and the place where it inserts with dishwashing liquid twice. The film is still on the water. I called support, where they informed me "I have passed the request." A day passed with no reaction. I called again and expressed my dissatisfaction with the quality of their products and the inaction in a more agitated tone. A couple of hours later, another installer called to arrange a time. relative compactness 1. product quality (system leaks) 2. water quality (technical lubricant in "drinking" water) Conclusion: If it so happens that you have little space under your sink and other systems won't fit, be prepared to spend a lot of time. Prepare for leaks. Prepare for water with lubricant instead of drinking water. Prepare to argue with sluggish support since a calm tone received no response. In this case, I would not recommend installing it yourself, because if there’s a defect, you'll have to take this system to the service center, possibly wait unknown durations for inspection results, and maybe make another trip there. Besides, the service center might refuse service due to installation by an unqualified person. Otherwise, it's better to purchase a reverse osmosis system from another manufacturer. |
