The key difference between the model and the previous generation is the powerful 8-core Apple M2 CPU (the same one that Apple uses in its MacBook Air and Pro line of laptops). According to the manufacturer, this change allowed to increase the overall computing performance of the system by 15%, and graphics performance by 35%.

The “face” of the Apple iPad Pro 12.9 2022 tablet is an excellent 12.9-inch Liquid Retina XDR screen with a resolution of 2732x2048 pixels, which provides a pixel density of 265 ppi, and an adaptive frequency of up to 120 Hz. As for the cameras, they have hardly changed compared to their predecessor. Specifically, this modification has only Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth v 5.3 modules on board, but modifications with support for nano + e-SIM cards and a 5G / 4G (LTE) module are also on the market. Responsible for autonomy is a 10758 mAh battery, which provides up to 10 hours of completely continuous work in web surfing mode. Compatible with the Magic Keyboard, Smart Folio, and Apple Pencil (Gen 2), the Hover feature enables stylus recognition up to 12mm above the screen.

The best tablet with the worst battery. 9/10

When I was considering buying a tablet, non-Apple options were not even considered, because a good tablet is an iPad. It covers the lion's share of issues - I work via an iPad using a mouse and keyboard with a browser and connecting to a virtual machine on Windows. Also, a big plus is the option to emulate game consoles such as Nintendo 3DS or PSP, PS3

There were higher expectations for the battery, it drains relatively quickly: 3 - 4 hours of YouTube video at full brightness, hopeless dot instead of a normal pointer when using a computer mouse with an iPad

Worth buying

I bought it at the end of 2022 for 55 thousand. I currently consider it one of the best purchases for an artist. 256 GB is the minimum, in my opinion. As for the SIM module, I think you can save on that. You can share the internet from your mobile. But that's up to you.
Am I an Apple fan? No. But this is my best purchase as an artist. Sculpting in Nomad, drawing in Procreate & Artstudio Pro & Infinite Painter works wonderfully. The M2 processor, by the way, is very impressive. As is the tablet's battery life.
Overpriced for additional memory in the spirit of Apple.

A wonderful tablet from Apple.
When it came to choosing a tablet for the family, we opted exclusively for Apple. We chose the Pro version to work on graphic design and have no regrets. The device meets all our needs. Large 12.9-inch screen, powerful, fast, great speakers, and even a good camera. The smoothness and vibrancy of the picture are impressive. The battery lasts more than a day. We have the LTE version, making it convenient to have constant internet access while traveling.
