A premium gadget from Apple, in which the company tried to blur the lines between tablets and laptops. Thanks to a large 12.9-inch IPS display with a resolution of 2732x2048 pixels and an oleophobic coating, the convenience of using the device is not much different from working on a regular ultrabook. Like last year's models, the Apple iPad Pro 4 12.9 2020 display boasts a 120Hz refresh rate and support for proprietary Night Shift and True Tone features.
And the new Apple Magic Keyboard (sold separately) sets new standards for tablet keyboards. It is easily connected to the tablet using special magnetic connectors, when unfolded it acts as a stand with an adjustable angle, and when closed it replaces the protective case. She also has a built-in trackpad, which, thanks to the integration into PadOS, has become a full-fledged alternative to gesture control.
Next up is Apple's new octa-core A12Z Bionic processor, which can easily handle any "heavy" applications for video editing, music production, 3D modeling and graphics processing. All this goodness is packaged in a stylish and ultra-thin aluminium case with a thickness of only 5.9 mm. Other highlights of the iPad Pro 4 include Face ID, Wi-Fi 6, a massive 9,720mAh battery with 18W charging, a 4-speaker audio system, and a pair of 12MP and 10MP rear cameras with a Lidar proximity sensor needed for work with augmented reality.

Apple's larger Pro tablet is getting another facelift in 2020. And although the update of the device turned out to be generally minor, several important points of the programme can be distinguished in it.
Camera in a new way
The key visual innovation is the 11th generation iPhone style camera. Along the perimeter of the square area “under cover” of glass on the back of the tablet case, there are 12 MP (leading) and 10 MP (ultra-wide) photomodules, and their company has a LiDAR sensor that analyzes the depth of the scene for augmented reality (AR) applications. The effective operation of the 3D sensor is established at a distance of up to 5 m.
Performant hardware
"At the helm" of the tablet is a home-grown energy-efficient Apple A12Z Bionic chipset, which does not take strength with an eye to the distant future. Apple iPad Pro 4 12.9 2020 is suitable for professional work with graphics (together with the Apple Pencil 2 pen), text documents (if you buy an external keyboard for it) and turns modern toys at maximum graphics settings.
Charged to the teeth
The screen of the model with a diagonal size of 12.9" is framed by thin frames and shows a picture at a resolution of 2732x2048 pixels. It features an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120Hz, automatic adjustment of colour temperature to lighting conditions (True Tone function), and recognizes multiple pressures with the aforementioned Apple stylus. The additional assets of the tablet include Face ID face unlock (regardless of the orientation of the device in the hands), the current set of wireless communications (including Wi-Fi 6 and LTE modules), a USB C port and long battery life.
