An improved version of the thin multi-purpose tablet from the iPad Air series. It is a mid-range device equipped with a 4G LTE wireless module that can easily cope with a wide range of household and professional tasks. It differs from the previous second generation in an enlarged touch screen based on a 10.5-inch IPS-matrix with a resolution of 2224x1668 and displaying the DCI-P3 colour space.
Support for True Tone technology is provided, which automatically adjusts the white balance depending on the type of ambient light. Even more significant are the internal changes. The new basis of the tablet is the advanced A12 Bionic platform, similar to that used in the flagship smartphone Apple iPhone Xs. It guarantees superior computing, multimedia and gaming performance. The amount of RAM has been increased to 3 GB, and the storage capacity is an impressive 256 GB. Secure user identification using Touch ID technology is performed by a second-generation fingerprint sensor built into the Home button. Work is supported in high-speed Wi-Fi networks of both bands (2.4 / 5 GHz), Bluetooth 5.0 is built-in. Also worth noting is the improved front camera (8 MP) with autofocus, which allows you to take high-quality pictures.

Beautiful, solid interface. Good processor. Large screen with good color reproduction. Sufficient memory capacity. Stylus support (but it's darn expensive and sold separately). Siri. It's simply divine! Beautiful, fast, smart. Neither Alice nor Google Assistant can compare to her. It's also convenient that you can add your own commands. Apps available only for iPad. In my case, these are apps for digital painting: Procreate and Adobe Fresco, which I am thrilled with. I really liked Memoji =) Unlike most Android devices, most pre-installed apps can be removed. Dock - it's very convenient. Charges slowly with the original charger. Even with slight pressure from the stylus, the screen dents like jelly. Many popular social networks like VK, Instagram are not adapted for iPad. The power and volume buttons are inconveniently located. If the tablet is on a flat surface, it will be difficult to turn it on without lifting it. App icons, folders, and especially widgets cannot be placed anywhere on the screen (but you can on Android). Not a convenient way to split the screen into two windows in a vertical position. An inconvenient floating window. Honestly, the floating window function appeared in Android only in version 10, but at least you can resize the window and move it anywhere. I find the notification center inconvenient. It took me a while to figure out where my notifications were going. I find the shade in Android more convenient. For me, as an Android user, the very closed OS is very unusual (I understand it's for my safety) and consequently, there's no proper file manager (well, no pirating here). There is no convenient and fast way to communicate between Android and iPad (although it's not surprising. Android and Apple are competitors). ![]() |
There's nothing special about it. I think I just don't use the features of this tablet to the fullest. Large screen, beautiful operating system (iPadOS), no lag in games, lots of memory. Often does not respond to pressure. ![]() |
The tablet is very cool, but it has its nuances. Overall, in terms of functionality, it is almost like a laptop and you can really work on it. Drawing is a pleasure. Games run smoothly. However, watching videos is not that simple. A large and vibrant display, powerful components, and the ability to take it anywhere and use it as a graphics tablet. The tablet itself is a stripped-down version of the 2017 Pro. The 120 Hz screen isn't necessary for the Air. Two speakers on top, forming good stereo sound, are also unnecessary. A gigabyte of RAM was removed. And a camera that can shoot in 4K isn't needed for the Air either. However, it does have the new A12 processor, which delivers 20k more points in synthetic benchmarks. But what really killed it is the screen aspect ratio. While all users of Chinese smartphones can watch YouTube video without borders, you'll be watching all the internet videos on a device for 40k just like on an old TV. Moreover, this problem isn't fixed not only on this model but also on the 2017 and 2018 Pro models. It's also unclear why this model supports the old Pencil model and is equipped with an "ultra-modern" Lightning connector, while last year's Pro has a normal Type-C. use Apple iPad Air 2019 64GB less than month |

- The 4G prefix means that the GSM (LTE) model has a modem, aGPS, GLONASS and Geotag modules
Conclusion: It's not as perfect as everyone says everywhere. The logo didn't just get that bite for nothing =)
