Model overview based on user reviews
The Apacer Panther AS340 SSD series offers a budget-friendly option for those seeking affordable storage solutions. Users appreciate its low cost, making it a viable choice for basic storage needs. However, several reviews highlight that the advertised speeds do not match the actual performance, with some users noting low operating speeds. Despite this, the SSD is deemed adequate for use as file storage or in older systems without advanced technologies. Some users also mention the lack of fastening bolts as a minor inconvenience. Overall, while it may not be the fastest option available, it provides satisfactory performance for its price range.

I bought this SSD back in 2018 for a 2012 laptop. As an SSD for programs and the operating system, it performed at 100%. Moreover, the laptop did not have PCI-3.0 technologies, so it was quite sufficient. Now it has moved to a newer build and is used as file storage. I have no complaints about it so far. It's still alive.
Cheap.
Low operating speeds, but for this price and to use as file storage, it fully satisfies.
